We felt the was missing some key accompaniments that would have enhanced the flavors. The absence of fresh fruits and a selection of cheeses was a noticeable omission and would have significantly improved the overall experience. While we appreciated learning about the winemaking process during the tour, the overall cost of €31 per person felt a bit expensive considering the basic nature of the tasting. With a few thoughtful additions to the tasting, Bodega Ribas has the potential to be an exceptional experience. Unfortunately they are missing good scenery of grape trees. You get to visit winery buildings. What an experience! Ellen and Juan were welcoming, knowledgeable hosts. A very interesting history of the winery. WE tasted white freshly bottled Ribas. Divine. Then the Rose - ohhhhh couldn’t decide which I liked better so we bought a bottle of each! The Sio inspired by grandma Ribas, helped me feel the character of the vineyards and grandma’s caress. Time well spent. Highly recommend a visit to the winery. If we had time we’d have done the tour. Super knowledgeable and friendly guide. He didn’t mind me asking all my technical yeast related questions. We enjoyed the and tasting. I enjoyed the history about the family and this historic place, I wish there was a little more information about the old buildings we visited, more from the point of trying to imagine how was made here in old times. Just one suggestion: it is unacceptable that on friday afternoon “the kitchen is closed today”. A cheese platter doesn’t need a michelins star chef. wines with no food is like going to the beach where there is no sea. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his first wine-tasting experience. The staff was well-knowledgeable and friendly. Fantastic afternoon spent at Ribas! Nice wines, wonderful “snacks” to them, and most friendly staff! We were even given a guided tour, even if we didn’t book it in advance. The Bodega Ribas is worth visiting This is a place with a lot of history: good atmosphere, nice tapas and excellent wines. We started with a guided and then we had the best with tapas.
