A typical harbour regeneration site with all the expected, Döner Kebap and burgers included. A nice place to take an urban swim and some buildings with contemporary architecture. Still feels like it’s own island outside of Aarhus city centre though. A great swimming area in the summer and cozy winter swimming club in the colder months. Has toilet access, changing rooms, and showers. Saunas are usually only for members except for weekends before noon. A place where many natives visit when the weather is good. Options to swim in the harbour and various options to eat and drink beside the harbour swimming area or just across from it where there are restaurants and a shop. Great for actual swimming, because the big pool is usually not very busy, most people prefer to just go for a quick dip and sunbathe again. Head count red light at the gate does not work well, which is irritating Hipstery harbor promenade with one-at-a-time wakeboarding place (incl. wetsuits for rent). There is a harbor swimmingpool for free with limited capacity — we saw it on a hot Monday afternoon and it was already well-filled with people (can’t imagine you can get in on a weekend without getting therevery early). A place for young people definitely, we saw nobody above 40. Surrounded by up-and-coming architecture buildings being constructed in the background, it feels a bit like a Californian waterfront in the middle of Denmark. Great place to swim and sunbathe. Open from 10am to 6pm in summer months. A great place to relax, seat down and drink some beverage together with friends. Or, if you into it, do it more active 😊 Great place for winter/summer bathing. There is a sauna where you can warm up after a cold plunge. In the weekends, between 08-12, the admission is free for anyone.
