Beautiful and interesting place Stunningly beautiful 🤩 This was the first historical abbey which we have seen on our recent visit. It is a former Cistercian monastery which was founded by the Eberbach abbey monks in 1174. This Abbey was in the 30 years war between 1618- 1648, (one of the most destructive war in human history), nearly destroyed. In the 17th century it was rebuilt in the Baroque style. Go and visit this age old Monastery. Beautiful area, and very historic. Worth a visit. Such a beautiful abbey and location.
