Shame the beach isn't nice all the way along.....but go the end where the bull is and it's alot better, main strip has lots of bars and cafes, lots of shops if you like that. Train station just to the right of the main strip, big market on strip on a Saturday and antique type market on a Sunday. Has a harbour with some amazing boats. Local bus service all day...didn't use it but saw them all the time. Took train to Barcelona takes an hour...its the last stop so you can't go wrong. A beautiful marina with some lovely views. Fountains are great when it's hot Large marina with a lot of super-yachts. Nice area for a stroll at sunset. Some bars and restaurants along the strip. Good prices. Lovely to visit it at sunset. Came to work in the marina, staff very friendly any made us welcome. For lunch eat in the restaurant just down from the entrance to the marina called Cafe Feeling, the Mexican burger with chilli's is the best burger in town This is one of the few places in the Med where you can haul out a 8 meter wide catamaran. Between all those super yachts we feel tiny. Although we are a very small boat for them, the attention to detail, the professionalism of all staff and the warm-hearted welcome are exceptional. This is the perfect place for doing mayor refits with a lot of professional specialty companies. Still you can bring your own favourite company to work on your boat or even do the work yourself. Normally in those boatyards you wouldn't be allowed to work yourself. So this is a huge plus. They have 2 travellifts . One Cimolay with a 200 tons capacity and a max width of 8 meters and an Ascom with a capacity of 600 tons and a max width of more than 10 meters. Good facilities as well: Showers, Laundry, Gym, nice restaurants nearby. Despite these dimensions we always feel at home there. Almost like family. Awesome, coolest and beautiful view of the sea side sounded with beautiful jets with different colours which make the area unique. great marina for yachts 50ft + which is something unique in area:) Nice spot to park the old girl, winter is a little desolate but the surf picks up.
