The weather was great when I went here and not so much crowded so I had a great time here.. it's a peaceful place to relax and unwind.. with a lot of trash bins, signage, warnings, maps, some toilets, the restaurant, parkings, lifeguards, etc. There's so much to see, you can go here even by bus from Schweinfurt and the bus stop is also a few meters away from the lake. Very nice big lake. Ideal to go with children since there is plenty of room in the grass or sand and a playground. In same parts of the it is allowed to go to the water. There are a couple of tables/seats spread around the lake, perfect for a Picknick! There is a nice big parking space, just a few meters from the lake. One can also go for running around the lake. Having the water and the birds singing all the time, make you want to relax and just enjoy nature! Nice place and a lot of facilities for children, good lake, very nice place for hiking. It's ok. I mean if there's no other in sw, then what to do. Very nice please and most of all, clean area, where everyone finds the please for she/him/itself, themselves. There are some grills, which give a sisuage -smell on the water (smoking on the water:-)...well, quite good for the single or family, as the best for just two;-) One of the best places in Schweinfurt amazing atmosphere and many activities.. Many from then are free A peaceful place for a swim and a run. its very nice and hot but sometimes the restaurant close near beach ( you can bring your own drinks).
