If you want to go to a small beach close to Brixham, this is the place. From the harbour it's a 20 minute walk, very nice also for dogs. Absolutely stunning and a little haven that I had not visited before. Popular with local dog walkers and a few small people enjoying the sunshine. Stunning spot 🥰 Beautiful little but it is a very steep muddy stony down. You can through the woods also on the way down and see a lighthouse on the water. Great for walking dogs Great views and brilliant place to be . Quite a challenging to get to it Pretty pretty pretty. Love coves like this. Only a short but lovely from Brixham if you don’t mind inclines. A longer west takes you to Elberry through woods that can get muddy unless it’s dry. Beatifull alternative to nearby Fishcombe Cove. Quite tricky to get here if loaded with gear but it is worth it. Perfect for a swim or paddle board. Dogs are allowed. Water was so clean. Big fan of this beach, very nice area and coast walk, and nice clear waters Beautiful ❤️ Beautiful secluded with crystal clear water; lovely swimming spot although access is challenging and unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility. Beautiful - very peaceful and relaxing. Not too busy. Pebbly beach with a very steep down. Can access fishcombe via battery gardens but this was also a very steep down and up. Sea was lovely and clear. Lots of people paddle boarding. Really nice day out - would return. Lovely place to visit, depending on your fitness, can be a challenging to get to it, but worth it. I was in no rush so took my time along the route.. Abit of a trek to get to across the cliff top but I always came here as a child (over 40 years ago) so desperately wanted to revisit this secluded little beach. Alot of people know about it now so not so quiet but it's lovely to visit. Take everything you need as there's nothing there. A fantastic place for a with a dog, a quiet spot where you can sit down, relax, watch the sunset in quiet. Be considerate visiting this location it’s basically a AONB. Scenic tucked away from the bustle of Brixham harbour. A relatively short along the coastal path from the harbour will bring you to both Fishcombe and Churston Cove. We decided to head to Churston as it was a little quieter than Fishcombe and only around a 5-10 further (the path was a bit steep though). Completely worth it as the views are stunning and the water is crystal clear! Perfect location for watching yachts and other boats pass by, as well as paddleboarding and a short dip in the sea. Not ideal for those with mobility difficulties, and the beach is pebbled, but worth a visit if you are able to.
