Really lovely beach! It was super quiet on the Saturday we went too. The hike down probably puts some people off, but it’s well worth it. Also it’s doggy friendly 🐕 Worth the strenuous hike to get there. Zero facilities, so be prepared! I love this nice beach. It is not very sandy but its tucked out of the way and the water is beautiful. Its a long way down and back up again. There is only one way on and off the beach. There is a bin at the top of the so you can take your rubbish home. At high tide there is still space to sit. The is big and there is plenty to explore. I took my dog who absolutely loved it. The views out to sea are also amazing. Gorgeous swim here even saw a few seals swimming after I got out. Stunning Bay look forward to returning. Absolute bay, a short from Sharkham car park. The bay has a grey sand and is ideal for adults and children. There is only one entrance to the bay down some steps. You can to Berry Head via the coastal path. And have a drink and bite to eat at the guardhouse cafe. There are plenty of short walks around and ideal for walking your dog with wonderful views. off the coast in Brixham.. long stretch of with high cliffs and a dream view out to sea overlooked by a carved mermaid. Not insignificant flight of down to the that can be a little precarious and certainly need some stamina to climb so you’ll need a certain level of fitness to enjoy the experience. Ample free parking about a 10 minute from the through grassland, muddy in the winter months. Check tide times as half the becomes inaccessible when the tide is in and keep an eye on that when visiting. It’s a dream for doggies, especially escape artists as there’s no way of escaping. Thoroughly recommend it for a decent to blow away the cobwebs 🌊🌊🌊 and secluded. The water is very clear and calm - perfect for skimming stones, and there are loads if great stones to skim. Lots of rocks to climb on and explore. A lovely day out, or indeed an evening stroll, with the family. Seals can often be seen in the bay, they'll even swim up to you. Over a hundred down though, so not for the faint hearted. quiet beach, descent, parking lot nearby, fantastic views, rocky but in a slight bay so the water is warmer, quite shallow, dogs are welcome Lovely quiet tranquil beach, Getting there is a bit hard going though, with down to the just need to take your time and there is a hand rail to help if needed. Worth the trip down. A nice place to visit, you can catch the no. 16 bus to St Mary's Hill from Brixham, there is access to the coastal path near the bus stop. There are down to the from the coastal path , it's a nice back to Brixham via Berryhead . Some scenery. A I always make sure to visit when in Torbay. To reach the bay you can along a section of the South West Coast Path and the views are wonderful. To get down to the there is a set of but is totally worth the descent (and ascent after!). It is such a tranquil space and I would recommend it to anyone whether that's to relax, swim or play games on the sand. Note that there is no cafe or toilets so make sure to take a picnic with you! rocky beach, to get down to the but worth it. Mainly rocky but with some sandy areas mainly near the steps. The is completely free from litter and while we were there we had a lovely chat to a local who was litter picking. There are no amenities so make sure to take everything you need with you. Very to get down but it’s worth it, the views from the top are absolutely stunning. Very rocky on the but also very quiet not many people. Stayed at St Mary bays at the end of July on a 4 night stay.We stayed in silver pet friendly caravan. Couldn’t really fault it for what we paid Beds were a bit soft for us that’s a personal preference,it was clean and everything we needed was there. Caravan had plenty of plugs some with usb for changing, had its own boiler so always had hot water.Yes it’s basic in places and if your looking for 5 star comforts book a 5 star hotel. It’s a mile or so out of town but we knew that when booked. Most things are booked via a app and swimming is limited so not overcrowded Great value for money and we’ll be back.
