Super Stayed late July. There is lots to do here and we enjoyed the lake. I booked in February and requested a quiet lakeside pitch. This was not honoured and we were dumped near the main beach. Strangely, the Lakeside pitch in front of us remained empty our whole stay. Reception staff try to help but I don't think that they understand their campsite. They told me quiet pitches near the do not exist. They do in Kiwi. I would request here if I came again. The area we were in was over run every day with day visitors; the facilities became a public toilet. Didn't feel Covid safe. That said, we generally enjoyed our stay but not our pitch. You expect more when you give 6 months notice! Really great place for vacation and relaxing. Great play areas and great water sports . Good pool area. There are a lot of people here, so if you want peace and quiet on your vacation this is not the place to choose. This is a acitive camping site Incrp This is the perfect camping venue for me. It’s rural so it’s quiet by a with a beach which is great for swimming in and further round the but easily within walking there’s a place you can hire a pedalo or canoe or kayak or have a go at water skiing, paragliding or ride a big banana or rings. Prices don’t break the bank! Everyone takes inflatables down to the to chill on or little dingis The main part of the beach also has lifeguards and a roped off area for smaller children. There’s also a giant inflatable ( extra charge €5 for 30 mins) There is also a fabulous pool complex (no board shiorts or inflatables here) with slides and outdoor and indoor pools. The pitches are very generous and each area has its own toilet and shower etc facilities. There are disabled ones available in some areas. There are volleyball and badminton nets by the beach and a park for kids. In the evening at the far side of the camp they have various things going on if you want to participate or watch (usually) Basketball area (free) and tennis (€6.50 for 1 hour) There’s a small shop on camp (there’s a Lidl in Montrevel just up the road - straight on at the crossroads then the roundabout and it’s on the right) and a nice restaurant. We went once at lunch time and had the ‘plat du hour’ which was €14 for starter main dessert coffee and 1/4 bottle of wine. Had a lovely stay here twice now. And I’ll return again.
