We will be back for sure! Quality Course⛳️ Cheeky Location But it Was Worth the drive💫Some holes On both sides, nicely contoured, Nice conditions, Friendly staff👍🏻 Seacroft is rightly considered the best course for £50 or under in Britain - and I would argue it is possibly one of the most underrated in England. Like all courses, dependent on the direction, this course will differently any given day, and naturally some of the holes can immediately intimidating whilst playing into a breeze, whilst some will have you thinking of birdie or eagle with the at your back - But the beauty of this course is that actually, whilst you may never overly punished for a bad tee shot (the exceptions being the ultra tight 5th and 8th fairways that hug the road), it is only when you split the fairway, that you you're in a position to make a score. It is a course that the big hitters will always they can take on (with some short par 4s that will reward the best drivers of a ball.. but miss it 10 yards either side and suddenly bogey+ is right back in play), but the shorter hitters will also get joy out of, as you never that any hole is beyond making a score on. The are a mix of giant, Scottish Links-esque surfaces, to quirky shapes and drop offs that can suddenly make you like you needed more practice at the Crazy in the heart of Skegness! Be it winter or summer, this course is always maintained to a high standard, and the staff in pro shop and club house are always welcoming and friendly. Lincolnshire may well be known in the golfing fraternity for Woodhall Spa and the home of the EGU, but more acknowledgement should be made for Seacroft and it's timeless layout Managed to Seacroft Club last week, a true course, firm, fast, breezy and excellent greens, the routing was typical links, out, back, out and back again. Would defo go again, recommended, a greater deal after 230pm, twilight prices! Can't speak highly enough of Seacroft. We played it at the end of a big week which included really highly rated like Ganton and Silloth - and Seacroft came up very well as a course and won hands down for the warmth of the welcome from every member of staff. From the head pro getting us out ahead of schedule to the team behind the bar - everyone was top rate. The course itself is a classic links, squeezed out and back into a narrow stretch of land with well-placed bunkers and quality greens. Any hole into the is tough but it's a fun place to visit with a halfway house at the top of the course. value at £70. This is an excellent course. I've given it four stars rather than five only because some of the tee boxes, fairways and bunkers were patchy compared to the best in the world but that is a high bar! The layout is great, more or less 9 out and 9 back, with each hole a different challenge. The were in very good condition with some tricky undulations - particularly the 16th! Watch out for that one. A warm, efficient welcome, food in the clubhouse and a friendly halfway house. Recommended. Was lucky enough to this fantastic course with my son and his father in law. Not played much but it was a most enjoyable, challenging experience. Everyone at the club was helpful from pro shop to bar and members too. Would thoroughly recommend a visit to this absolute gem Excellent course, very challenging even in more benign conditions. Fairways very bare after dry weather, may have benefited from preferred lies, bit uneven as had recently been worked on. Office organisation was very efficient, pro shop could work on giving a friendlier welcome!! to finally this course. For the last week of October the course was in shape and we were blessed with the weather! No and short sleeve. For £40 a round it is well worth it. The condition of the course was and of course there is some winter work being done but it surely didn’t interfere with a experience. holes and don’t expect to get many flat lies. Nice course My view on this course is a little bias as I must say I am not a keen player. If you like to add to your challenge, then this course has plenty of it and you will definitely not be disappointed. I played it when the country was roasting but the was still blowing on this course. As for the conditions, I can see they have done some work to the paths, which makes it very pleasant to walk on and to the eye, the were not as fast as I was probably expecting them to be and unfortunately there were quite a few bold patches on the fairways. Would I recommend it? Yes I would, although I think it is a little pricey. Perhaps make good use of the different tee time fees available throughout the day. If you plan a couple of days away in the Skegness area than a round at Seacroft has to be on your list of to play. A very enjoyable course that has received accolade from others. Must have caught the pro on a bad day as he wasn't at his best. The clubhouse offender a good menu. Car parking was over the main road in a quiet area with several members parking on the side road. The course was in goid condition with extensive improvement being carried out on one hole. North Shore club and hotel is just down the road and I am posting review on that. I Always really enjoy playing this track. It's challenging, undulating fairways and deep bunkers. Not to mention the stiff breeze. Always start the round with a full English. Perfect day out Good experience all round. The food as especially nice afterwards. Only negative is the looming road and houses on the right but that's down to my own poor game rather than the course Myself and a group of friends, 8 in total came up from all parts of the south and played on Saturday morning, what a treat, the course is marvelous, a real joy to and everyone was so welcoming. Thank you all at Seacroft for a wonderful course and your hospitality. We will be coming back...if you'll have us....
