Lovely lake around Graz, only 15 minutes drive from the center. If you feel safe in a deep lake you can swim across it and back. Huge green space around with shady trees. Lovely lake! Great water.. prices to visit are not great.. I would like a 1 hour price for when your doing a day of triathlon and you only need 30 mins. We came here as a family to dive and to chill on the beach. The entrance together with the parking on the grass cost us around 50 euro. The lady on the entrance wasn't nice and didn't even want to explain what exactly we are paying for (we asked in German). The diving equipment cost another 30 euro per person. The compass was incorrect and kept changing the north point every time. But mostly I don't understand why anyone would like to dive here: the water is green, full of sand, you can't see anything at all, there is no fish, you just dive in dirty water. This place definitely isn't worth the money. Not recommended. A location beyond expectations! Very friendly staff! I did a dive that I was very happy with what I saw in the lake! Grandma visibility 3-4 m but I found all kinds of wrecks, statues and even many fish! A pleasure! I strongly recommend! Deep water lake with floating diving platforms. There are sunk objects and craft to explore underwater. Next to the airport runway - i like watching the planes take off/ land. There is artificial beach with beah chairs to relax. If temperatures are good swimming is possible. Children play area is also available. A nice cafe and restaurant is also there. Very clean place, warm water, big parking. They have bars with all kinds of drinks, a big 'Taverna' with greek specialties to eat and more... Overall, a very nice place to spend a day for relax! This place don’t deserve even one star… they took from us 20€ for entry for two people and when we came inside, i didn’t saw single reason for what I paid.. disgusting bar looked like abandoned, 100m of “beach” rest was private, so you can not take a walk.. everywhere was cigarette butts.. here are such a better places and cheaper than this.
