Great, basic accommodation in a superb location for town, archaeological sites, beaches and tavernas. Not luxury but nice balcony and all you need including a helpful host. Location is right in Kos town, accessible to the port and restaurants and 5 minutes from the port where we arrived. The host is very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are simple and basic, for 2 nights we were fine. But the bathroom is outdated. Huge plus was the balcony, where we could have a coffee. Good for a short stay where it's close to everything. After three years of booking via telephone, I called Eleni and booked a room for us. Just before our flight, I called her for confirmation, and she told me, “We don’t book via telephone. You don’t have a booking”, and she started to yell, “If you come to the hotel, I will call the police”…!!!?? 4 people family with two children.. police?!! We couldn’t find a room at 02:00 am and spent that night in Kos airport because of her. I don’t know whether she has dementia, but she was extremely rude. I definitely don’t recommend it. Do not trust your booking. Rooms are not cleaned well, and service is zero but the hotel is very close to the centre that’s all. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would just because of amazing the service was. First had an absolute nightmare and booked the wrong day to stay here but I called and the owner was very understanding so let me stay a day earlier. Also then locked myself out of my room and couldn’t get back in, called again and she managed to get a locksmith within 30 mins to let me back in.
