Castell De Gelida

Rubí, Spain Castle

One of the Best Places To Visits in Gelida Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A awesome landscape, easy go there and well organised to visit Ok Free parking almost at the entry. Fee 1 euro adult for castle. Not much to see. The church was closed on weekend. Maybe its opened only on a special occasion. Its a bit unkept. Lots of bushes covering old walls and pathes. The explanations are on stands, a bit poor considering that many castles near by have qr codes and audioguides. There is a path around castle. Interesting on the top of a widespread hill. The church also has some interesting arches. The views of Montserrat are nice. The place needs some maintenance though. Quite a walk to get up there (like a lot of Gelida it is uphill!) However on a sunny day you can see all of Gelida and as far as the mountains of Montserrat. Lots to explore up here, just keep on walking in and around the ruins On your way down stop by in the bar for a quick cool drink Closes at 2 pm. We left car at the parking, went into the castle, exited it once up there and returned by the road nearby. Great experience. Stunning medieval with guided tours and a beautiful view of gelida. More to this than first meets the eye. Do the full tour. Or guide was very knowledgeable of the complete history of the castle, and a very good sport for doing the tour in the rain. This place is probably worth seeing if you are already in the area. However, it's not interesting enough otherwise. If you come here, consider visiting the village of Gelida itself. It's not touristic at all, but the locals will be happy to welcome you as their rear visitor. No photo and video allowed. The good track to this and the square for drifting 👍 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
