We ordered the Pizzocheri and some desserts and cappuccino. Everything is made from scratch in house and tasted delicious! I arrived from Posallo, a beautiful but steep route. At the rifugio, my hard work was rewarded with good food and friendly staff. Highly recommended! Great hut, we came at noon and the kitchen was closed, but the host was very nice and made some sandwiches for us instead :) Delicious goulash and draft beer, friendly and helpful service. A meal here is the best reward for climbing Monte Legnone ;) Awesome place to visit after a hike. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We came here by car to climb the Monte Legnoncino. We were welcomed most warmly! We didn't stay or eat here, but instead bought some drinks and asked for advice how to find the easiest path up the mountain. Despite the perfectly good advice, we ended up on the steepest path up the mountain. On the bright side, it was much faster and we got a good workout! After enjoying the absolutely stunning views on top, we walked back down (the easy way this time). We were supposed to buy something to eat for the back down to the town of Dervio. Sadly the kitchen had already closed and there were no snacks available for purchase, but instead we got some potato chips and some savory cakes free of charge! This place had by far the kindest staff we met on our trip. So thank you again, hope to come back here in the future. Grazie mille!
