This was a great we took the blue stripe and red dot track, at some point you will leave the blue stripe behind and have to follow the red dot track. The is quite easy as difficulty. This is a circuit, you can reach the Lucaci stone both ways. If you are going to take the left route, the has a lot of ups and downs along the way and on the last 500m 1km there will be a hill to to reach both small and big Lucaci stone. Taking the right side is quite difficult, you will have to 70% of the track. The entire circuit had 11km if I remember well. It took us around 5 hours with breaks. The views are great. I recommend taking 2L of water with you, we had 1L, 2 people and it was not enough. Quite a spectacular view from the top, you realize how impressive is Lake Tarnita and the amount of water it contains that gets filtered and goes to residents of Cluj-Napoca. The better, the fragile - so it needs to be protected and reach zero-trash. Awesome view from the top. Breathtaking. But the trip till there is quite hard. Better take the longest way, not the one that serpents near the lake. Don't take kids under 10 years. It's not suitable for them. Wow! The view is amazing and completely worth it. But this trail is not for beginners! It is rather intermediate-advanced because you will need to climb in some places. The whole route took us 5 hours, including breaks for pictures and snacks. The way back was more complicated. I don’t recommend taking the route back close to the lake. Better to turn back the same way as going up. There are 2 trails that lead to this amazing place but the “bottom” one is closed. Prepare for a 14 km, medium difficulty, starting from the dam. It’s worth it. An 11 km trail that starts smooth and becomes challenging after 2 hours of walking. At some point, the is steep, with climbs and downhills. I'd say that this road is difficult, not for beginners. Make sure you have proper hiking equipment. When you get to the stone, the view is stunning but the place is tight and steeply. It was beautiful to see it in the fall, the surroundings are just spectacular. Very nice hiking spot with easy paths and good views.
