The were well behaved, the route was spectacular, challenging enough to get a thrill but I never felt unsafe as the were gentle and well behaved and Marc was an assuring host and guide. We did a 2 hour beginner as a family of four and our youngest, who is 8, had never ridden before. It was my daughter’s birthday and while she was a little nervous he made her safe and calm - he was so knowledgeable about the and its history and related well with the kids - they were so excited and proud of themselves afterwards. I had a private two hour trek and it was the best part of my trip. I hadn't ridden since childhood but Marc made me super comfortable - his warmth, patience, humour, passion and knowledge of the is what made this so wonderful and unique. Had a really incredible doing the 2-hour trail with my husband on our honeymoon in late September. First off, Mark offered to pick us up from the train station which was such a lifesaver as we thought we would have to try and find a car rental or service. Then upon arriving to his property, the love Mark has for his animals (both dogs and horses) is really apparent. He speaks to them in such a kind way that you know they live amazing lives and are well taken care of — an essential for me. As someone who rode for fun as a kid but did nothing past a canter on a horse, I was worried that the would be a bit slow as my husband has never ridden and I figured Mark would default to the less experienced rider’s preferences. But I think Mark sizes people up pretty quickly and could tell my husband’s balance and athleticism would allow us to have a more fun ride. In short — he had us galloping up certain trails! I couldn’t believe how exciting this was. His knew every step and every turn and are incredibly used to taking his direction. It made trusting them really easy for us. There was nothing quite like galloping up the trails, talking with Mark about his with and living in Spain, and it was especially interesting to talk with Mark about the environmental changes he has noticed in El Chorro since moving there in the early 2000s as we walked past dead and dried out olive trees only to see thriving spruce trees, planted in the in the 1940s. Throughout the ride, he also pointed out and talked about the dwellings of people who used to live in the before they were kicked out in the middle of the 20th century. We were a group of 4 with kids aged 11 and 13, one of whom had never ridden before. Marc was a great and made everyone very confident. Rocky mountains, beautiful views, pine forests, mountain goats and vultures. Highly recommend. All the tours here are private so you can do as much or as little as you want. The most fabulous horseback we have ever had. We are a family of four with kids at the age of 8 and 10. Two of us have been some before, the other two were beginners. Marc managed to give all of us a pure adventure on horseback while showing us the most scenic landscape imaginable. Alle er enige om at oplevelsen er udover det sædvanlige og begge piger på 9 og 12 år fik deres drøm opfyldt om at galopere i bjergene! Marc er en meget rolig og tryg guide.
