Big spaces too. Close to town centre. Electricity is available too. Spacious, landscaped aire in city centre. Accessed easily from inner ring road. I entered the city from the south and was on this ring road for only about ten minutes before arriving here. The site overlooks a river and is set well back from the main road. So, there is some background noise, but (so far) not particularly intrusive. Services are good, about 12euro per night with electric. An extra night or water can be added at any time by scanning your entry ticket . It is about eight minutes walk to the for shops and restaurants. Highly recommended. Time of year, that was on Wednesday and Saturday. We went on the Free Electric Bus, two tours around the City, great, so cute and fun. We had Lunch at l'elysee, plat de Jour for 9.90€. I had Lamb and George had Quiche really good, the Restaurant was really busy. We loved Arras and would definitely go out of our way to visit again. But... You can never get in. Always says full due to reservations, but the website says reservations not allowed! We have now gave up trying to get in and go to St Omer market instead on a Saturday. It's a five minute walk into Arras and there's a plethora of bars and restaurants to choose from. We stayed twice our first stay was on our way out and there were plenty of spaces. However coming home we were a bit behind our schedule so managed to get the last available spot, phew. There's 10amp ehu and the usual black and grey waste disposal you don't need anything else. Only slight moan there was some event going on with very loud music but only till midnight. We will stay again without doubt. Hier hat die Gemeinde einen tollen Platz geschaffen We keep returning to this site, great stopover on route via euro tunnel, clean site with excellent facilities only 11€ and lovely walks along the canal or short walk to explore the city. Unfortunately nobody keeping canal free of litter which is harmful pollution to the wildlife and tiny ducklings we saw amongst plastic in the water where many locals fishing.
