Magnifique cathédrale riche d'histoire ! À visiter absolument 👍🏻 No easy access, difficult for people with disabilities Amazing historical cathedral pretty impressive I genuinely think this is one of the most impressive cathedrals in Europe. The place is huge and the stain glass windows are beautiful. The place has so much more natural light that allows you to appreciate the glass and the architecture. There are tours to the top of the tower which gives great views over the area. If you can catch an organ recital then you are really in for a treat, the acoustics are amazing. There is no much parking in the vicinity so you will probably need to park elsewhere and walk in. Well worth the trip though. Was closed. No sign. Not anything indicating when they open. Would have loved to visit!!! Great Roman architecture site. Our Air BNb with Gregory was directly across the street from this incredible building. Marvelous!!! I can see it from my roof terrace 😊😍 I am so incredibly disappointed that I did not get to see this. I am a pilgrim walking from London to Rome, and the posted hours said it would be open today. I understand that things aren’t always completely up to date, so I wouldn’t have put so much trust in the accuracy except that it says the “business” just updated their hours less than a week ago. If it wouldn’t have said that, I would have tried to go last night when I got in or at least verified the hours by calling. As it is, I may live the rest of my life without another opportunity to see this cathedral.
