It was dry and the first 9 holes (France) were enough for us. Putting was fast and we saw the first results of their green-improvement plan. And what they were doing on Luxemburg (10-18): very impressive. My guess is that this owner will create a fantastic course in one or 2 years. Due to aeration works Greens are bad for the moment Solid course — three nine-hole options, practice facilities (including indoor hitting bays with simulators), and a scrappy little par 3 course. Pretty value for a membership and an easy drive from Luxembourg. Course can be challenging but won't scare off high handicaps either. Entspannt und gut gegessen In sehr guter geselliger gesellschaft. The condition of the greens and course was truly abysmal during my visit. Not only were they in a terrible state, but the overall cost of playing here was exorbitant. When we raised our concerns and asked for a discount, the response we received was even more disheartening. They brushed off our valid complaints by claiming the course improved during event weeks, which did nothing to address the unplayable conditions caused by the severe bobbling on the greens. It was a frustrating and costly experience that left me thoroughly dissatisfied with de Preisch Amazing course, delicious food, and big plus for the new Petanque installation! I played as a guest with a member on May 28th and 29th last. It was a very enjoyable visit and the course was in condition with fast greens. The bar & restaurant service and the food was very also. I would highly recommend Preisch and I hope to pay a return visit later in the year. Worst course quality I have ever experienced! The course is in quite a nice setting, the restaurant and facilities are pleasant, however the condition of the course is abysmal, particularly for €70.. The greens were completely unplayable, with spots, bumps, divots etc everywhere you looked (see photos), ultimately making the game very unenjoyable. Tee boxes were not in shape either and a couple of the fairways were under repair and unplayable. We mentioned this to the staff who were very unsympathetic and said they couldn’t give us any compensation since the course condition “was much improved since a few weeks prior”. Have a look at the photos and judge for yourself whether that is a fair assessment! Very disappointing experience all in all, as I think the course should take responsibility for the condition of the course and offer compensation in these circumstances. Great, nice staff & members.
