Very nice to meet and understand Polish tradition and heritage. Unfortunately on a day we went for a visit some of the houses and school was closed due to staff sickness. But other than this staff very friendly and dressed up. You can definitely travel in time here. If you want to spend day out is the right choice. Park is not huge but well organised with benches and places to rest. Also recommend restaurant next to the entrance of the museum. A wonderful museum/park with lots of attractions and a fair price. There are clean toilets available. One can spend there couple of hours. Near the entrance, there's a restaurant with great food and solid selection of vegetarian dishes. A fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the kashubian past... Lovely walk through parkland visiting houses and farmsteads from the past as well as a school and churches... The best place to learn a little about Kahubian history and culture! The park's buildings are original and were relocated from different regions. The park has very polite staff who explain and guide you through the history. It is worth visiting each of the dozens of buildings and exploring every detail they have. I recommend! We loved the place. It shows very nicely the details of the area. You can visit most houses and the food was also good. Gorgeous area to walk, we were lucky to be there on a week day and off the season so it was mostly quiet and spend a bit over 2h of walking around. Good information in English, only regret is that most houses are closed for public view. Free parking on the site, free entrance and also very clean toilets, i was impressed. I visit this museum almost every year, and there is always some new exhibition being set up. It is beautiful to see how large the museum has grown and how much care has been put into it. If you have even the slightest interest in anthropology, culture and history it is worth a visit to this beautiful ethnographic park.
