Outstanding authentic Alentejo food! Just go and taste all the platos they have! Pay special attention to migas and the cheese. Amazing! I will definitely go back. Services was also really good, very friendly. Go there now. The food is delicious and the service is homely. They only serve petiscos which is fabulous as get to savour various dishes. The house wine was superb. Why you still reading? Go there NOW. Great quality food! You have the opportunity to to taste the very most tasteful dishes from the Alentejo region. Lots of flavors, quality ingredients, attention to details, and exquisite options. the approach at “Gigante” is to “go with the flow” for the different dishes to share, that Mr. Gigante will bring to the table. Very good dinning experience. I do recommend. We liked very much. Linda & Enio make you feel un your town. The Chef is Linda's mother, so everything within the family. You can do sampling differen small dishes which combine terrific with the Wine chart options. This is a MUST at MORA Town 😊 One of those culinary experiences that you will cherish forever... This is a family-owned restaurant and the owner Enio was super nice since we called for a reservation (please do so if you want to come as they only have 22 places) and explained the tapas-like concept and that they only accept cash. We had several dishes from the Alhada de Cação to the Peito de Codornizes com Mostarda e Mel, all the plates went back to the kitchen completely clean and that is always a great sign! We were able to thank the chef (Enio's mother in law) for the great service and she was so happy for the compliments :) We really hope to come back some day ! What an absolute treat and the perfect way to end our holiday in the beautiful Alentejo countryside! We were very lucky to get a lunch reservation on our last day and highly recommend you book in advance. This quaint family restaurant is very small allowing for relaxed dining and exceptional service. Enio was a gracious and welcoming host who took extra time to explain the menu. Every dish was truly exceptional - flavourful, unique and true to the region. We are back in Canada now and still talking about the octopus fritters and almond ice cream! Obrigada Enio and family - we hope we’re fortunate enough to dine with you again! Amazing and super cameral place when you feel like an actual guest of the owner who puts lots of heart in running it. Delicious wine, great octopus pies and the best beef cheeks I ate in my life. If you around, don’t miss it! A traditional Portuguese Tasca serving delicious food. We stopped here for lunch while driving through Alentejo. The service was friendly and inviting. The food was simple, fresh, and delicious. While I'm not Portuguese, everything I ate reminds me of home cooking like mom makes.
