Despite water being very low there is still good water access across the beach, even with a motorhome (walk route first to test for firmness). Beautiful, quite reservoir for Kayaking and sailing, also good free parking for motorhome near treeline (park and sleep, not camp). Minimum litter unlike other end on reservoir. We will definitely return. Gorgeous lake, well worth a visit. Well worth stopping off.. some stunning views.. there’s a road leading up to some look out points above the dam but it’s not for the faint hearted and a 4x4 would be a bonus but not essential... Lovely reservoir with a huge beach where you can hire pedelos, sun loungers etc. There is also a small pine forest where you can sit if you don't like the sun so much. The views are beautiful. Very large reservoir. We spent a few days nearby, and had a chance to do some canoeing. Very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Water level was quite low. Water was not clear and was dirty, maybe because of heavy rains. Lovely place for nature lovers.
