Beautiful castle, richly furnished inside. We were provided an English audio guide which we found interesting, informative and concise. The ticket price is well worth it. However, the air in some of the rooms is bad and made me cough. Perhaps the management could consider airing the rooms sometimes? If you are planning to come, set aside 2-3 hours for the visit. And come early, like 9am, before the crowds start coming in. Second after Wawel best in Małopolska. It was burned down and then renovated from scratch so things inside were not there originally but still it looks very authentic. It has nice inner yard and amazing terrace with sunset view. I recommend as well to have dinner in the restaurant Figarella on site, it has great Chef. I was very surprised, the place is amazing, there are a few options of sightseeing - tickets start from 14pln also there is an option of VR ! Audio tour in many languages. We were lucky to visit during the super misty afternoon, added charm. Majestic off the beaten path, perched on a hilltop above Nowy Wiśnicz. This historic stronghold played a key role along the trade route from Poland to Hungary. Originally founded by the Kmita family, it later came into the hands of the Lubomirski family, who invested great care and resources into fortifying and beautifying the castle. The place feels like something out of a fairytale. Surrounded by lush forests, colorful meadows, and gurgling streams, the is not only imposing but also enchantingly picturesque—truly a place that transports you back in time. From its grand chambers to the breathtaking views from the balcony, everything here feels timeless and magical. The museum is beautifully curated, well-organized, and informative. Both guided and self-guided tours are available, making it suitable for all kinds of visitors—locals, tourists, adults, kids, and history enthusiasts alike. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area! It’s very close to Bochnia, so you can easily combine both into a day trip. Wiśnicz is a beautiful and well-preserved historic gem in Poland. The architecture is stunning, and as you walk through its halls and courtyards, you can really feel the rich history. We used the audio guide, which provided a lot of fascinating information about the castle’s past and made the visit even more engaging. The surrounding gardens and scenic views are also lovely. While the interior could benefit from more exhibitions or interactive displays, the overall atmosphere is truly enchanting. A great spot for history lovers and a relaxing day trip! I enjoyed the visit very much!! Very interesting, modern castle. Looks massive and beautiful, both inside and outside. Was definitely a very-well spend time, visiting it. I give only 4 stars only because of outdated bathroom. It's in a very poor condition. Really nice castle Option to go without guide Interesting underground It took us 1.5h to go through full tour Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
