Great local park, lots for kids to have fun including fields to run in and apparatus. This is a large that my grandchildren love. There is plenty of room to run free and enjoy yourself. There are also fields to football style games. There are public toilets 🚻 and a small cafe. Sometimes, there are ice cream vans on site. It's situated opposite the police station and next to the rugby 🏉 club. There is a small car on site. If you're ever in the area with your kids I highly recommend a visit. Clean park, good facilities cracking for a little day out. Plenty of rides for little ones and a good walking route for adults and older kids. Lovely to in. Hit and miss whether the council has actually opened the public toilets there (and there are no others around). The weekend evenings it can be a little over run with older gangs of kids. Although there is a police station opposite the park, I have never once seen a police officer or PCSO in the or patrolling it 🤷‍♂️ very pretty park, great for little ones loads of slides and swings, sea saws all on a soft safe surface. Always been an excellent park. The children's area is very spacious and has a variety of equipment. It is also safe as it is enclosed via a fence. Dogs are not allowed inside. Lovely green space next to area suitable for playing ball games, having picnics and running around. Tennis court and bowling green also.included.There is usually an ice-cream van and a cabin selling light refreshments. There are toilets including a disabled toilet. My grandchildren loves the it's clean safe and lots of fun a little shop there's toilets and a wonderful day out to have.
