Brilliant pub, can't fault the food or the friendly staff. Chips were outstanding, like my grandad used to make. If in the area, GO THERE. Attended a wedding here and absolutely loved the it was fab and Tia our bar server was lush she deserves a raise/bonus so friendly and lovely she's a credit to the place Lovely lunchtime meal. Really good value for money & food was really tasty. Staff were friendly. If it's not on the menu, they'll do their best to make it for you anyway. The interior could do with a bit of a facelift but the food makes up for that 100 times. We'll definitely go again! Absolutely loved our family week away. 26 of us went, 15 adults 11 kids. Venue was great. Yes are there bits and pieces that are looking a little tired and need some work, yes, but completely to be expected. Nicky Is an amazing host who went above and beyond to help, even going out and getting loads of games and activity sets for the kids in our group to do. Excellent location close to shops and activities. There is a silent disco set, oh my lord, what a great laugh And so much fun. Ended up ordering some cheesy chips & a plain chips (which were home made only from potatoes - ideal for a wheat, milk, egg, soya & oat free little one). Lovely place. Peaceful & friendly, with a nice atmosphere inside. Toilets & baby change look nice & clean. Tiny amount of debris from dinner time on the floor outside by the play park, & a fork (my littlest finds EVERYTHING!!) which was the only thing we coukd find wrong with this place. Although it may be cold and rainy outside, Scott and the lovely team of Ynysmeudwy Arms welcomed us with warmth. The room was and fresh and there was plenty covid preventing measures in place. The team were all friendly and the breakfast was just right. We definitely will be coming back to stay and really look forward to visiting and exploring the beautiful surroundings. Great Job Ynysmeudwy! This property is superb - its spacious, very clean, functional and well equipped with literally everything one could need for a very comfortable stay. We visited as a group of 20, the indoor space has games, a bar, TV, etc. Outdoor has a beautiful marquee and porch. Beautiful views. Would definitely come here again, have already recommended to friends. Don't hesitate. Just book it! Place beginning to look tired after large groups in and no cleaning staff (you're expected to and clear the whole place yourself which is a killer by 10am on the morning after your wedding!) Had ring nicky to get a locksmith late in the night as the door handle fell off, shower leaking in one room, yucky old smelly soap in some dispenser and we had to wipe surfaces as they were sticky. The good points though are.... The is perfect for large groups and really well equipped. Very private and easily accessible. Nicky is lovely to deal with and very helpful throughout the process. We really enjoyed out wedding day and 2 nights there. Would certainly recommend to others but with the warning about cleaning etc as you only pay for laundry nothing else. Excellent host, brilliant service and communication. Very and all the bedrooms, showers, toilets were newly refurbished and brand new. Large space downstairs perfect for large family gatherings. Very good kitchen facilities and outdoor park for small children. Closed in grounds for safety. Recommend. Brilliant well organised and super Absolutely BRILLIANT Couldn't be happier with the we spent here, the is so well set up for hosting a big group. Every member of the group was so impressed with it when they arrived. The bar area, complete with Sky Sports TV, Pool Table, Dart Board, PS4, and full on bar, is the ultimate place for hosting your own pub for the weekend. Not only is the bar area great, but the rooms are super impressive, feel very new and and furnished really nicely. Plus you even have your own beer garden. Nikki was brilliant at communicating with me and was fantastic at answering all of my questions in the run up to our booking. Can't recommend this place enough! I this for my sister’s hen party last and it was absolutely fantastic! The place was immaculately clean, had everything we could’ve possible needed and the rooms are beautiful. Absolutely sensational - we The Ynys Arms for bank Holiday for our wedding and it couldn't have been more amazing - Nicky was so helpful and went above and beyond and we had the absolute best of our lives, the venue, the decor, the facilities, I could not recommend enough!everyone loved it - bedrooms were gorgeous - kitchens were kitted out enough for dinner for nearly 100 people - we had live bands, hog roast, fully stocked bar at super reasonable price - so happy ❤️ I another nearby since with Nicky too for my husbands birthday weekend! A pub near the waterfalls and mountain bike trails….also amazing ✨✨ Very disappointed this their approach to my booking. well in advance, (7 months). Upon I was told I needed to pay additional £500 as there was an error on the page and was charged too little. Which I was okay to pay. I have loads of activities for 20 people for this which are non-refundable. To my dismay, they have recently cancelled my as the I was the "only" they could get their windows changed (my is 5 months away). They do not have any other either side of mine, and look free for most of the month I have booked. You would have thought they would have got them fitted on one of the many weekends they don't have any booking. Really poor from this company, and would err on the side of caution. I have had a for 20 people ruined. We this amazing for a big birthday weekend, our guests ranged in age from 3-80 & there was something for everyone! The facilities are fantastic & the bedrooms are immaculate & comfy. Every one of our guests absolutely loved it! Nicky, the host, has thought of everything. Her attention to detail is superb. She is also so helpful & accommodating. We can't thank her enough for making our experience at YNYS so seamless & special.
