Well kept by the council. FIVE entrances, able to walk the dog but needs close watching if off the lead. Tidy and safe children's playground. Toilets nearby. Summer months plenty of grassy areas to play or relax and shady trees if too hot. A good park. A nice park. Sadly the toilets are closed (I think permanently) now. Decent kids with a lot of things for the older children. Not quite as much for younger toddlers but still enough to have fun. There's a bike repair station here too by the which is handy for anyone who needs it. Plenty of space for picnics/ball games etc. Just watch out for dog poop as some people are still completely oblivious to the fact that dog poop in children's eyes causes permanent blindness. Usually it's picked up but you get the odd bit here and there so always be careful My fave lil to walk around with my dogs Beautiful....the path could do with a brush ! Lovely with nice play area, surroundings and nearby shop's, takeaways, pubs, coffee shops parking buses. Can you ask for more? A great location. An area with a place for kids to play. A good for the family could do with an update but definitely needs more benches Just really enjoyed my Sunday afternoon ,cross keys brass band were playing in excellent sun shining Mike Parker and his wife Angela were really good company ,l was with my dear friend absolutely lovely afternoon Beautiful area an scenery, pictureqe on a summers day. Was good for the children accept the toilets have been closed by the council, which is very disrespectful to children and older people. There are benches and big trees offering shade. There is playground which is okay, could do with a refurbish, but still enjoyable. Bus stops are nearby and parking is free for one hour and there are plenty of spaces too. Traditional park. Good for dogs. Large area. Quiet benches. Good for picnics.
