Called here as my friend has just moved to the area and everyone has been saying you need to try there for some food. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the Sunday dinner is. Portions are great the flavours are sublime and the price for 4 of us was very reasonable. Had food here not so long ago but wasn't very impressed. Starters wasn't great, main meal was disappointing and desert. I'm pretty easy to please, but even that wasn't great. Staff was great, friendly and prompt, but it's a shame about the actual food. Recently just stayed here overnight with my partner for the 1st time the staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful 😊 Drinks were a great price and the food was stunning portions were huge!! We was shown directly to our room and it was absolutely beautiful very roomy, modern and spotless couldn't fault it, huge tv on the wall and the shower was huge too the only downfall was the memory foam mattress felt very solid to sleep on it give me terrible shoulder and side pain I found it impossible to sleep on which resulted in me being very exhausted in the morning and for the rest of the day as I just tossed and turned all night, thats the only thing that let down our experience 😞 breakfast was lovely helped ourselves to cereals and drinks whilst our full English was being cooked 🥰 really enjoyed our stay would definitely stay again but would want a more comfortable mattress Well well well.. been going to green acres on and off for a long time... going for week day lunches and Sunday lunches and drinks with my husband. After he died I started going for meals with friends. I then decided to visit during early evening for a drink bringing my dog with me. Originally in lounge then told that dogs were only accommodated in the bar which was fine by me. Went down an hour ago and was told that I could have a drink only if I sat outside !!!
