The was explaining how people would see the and riding the as immoral and unethical and his past experiences of getting slandered but he explained about his own life and how much he cares about the and the ranch he owns. After having a conversation with him and understanding and learning about fun topics about the it made me learn his perspective and understanding. 45 minutes on camel, then a 30 minute break to to the crater then 45 minutes back to the start. and also cheap if compared to similar experiences in Europe! We did the 1h30 with 1 hour on the and 30 minutes of free time to visit the vulcano. 27€ per person (only cash!) Also the camel guy was very funny and friendly! Very recommended! This was an amazing and I highly recommend coming here if you can. Nicolas really cares for his and is very informative during your ride. Myself and the children loved it. The at the top of the are brilliant aswell I recommend 100%!!! Nice time spent outdoors. Our - Nicolas - a very nice guy with a sense of humor. He puts on a show, a lesson about and lots of laughs. So it's not just a boring ride but really good fun. You can see that the are well cared for. Time really well spent!!! Best regards Nicolas!! Carrot Real nice guy, nice too! A half day for the fam. Suggest walking the crater and going for lunch in one of the fantastic restaurants in the area for a day out worth recommending! Our Nicolas is very passionate and caring about his camels. The whole trip was kept very informative, humorous and very joyful. A fantastic experience. A really - Nicolas. Top bloke 👌 The are incredibly well looked after and happy. The ride is smooth and fun. Nicolas gives a very good talk about the animals, the island and the on the way. Lots of laughs. Child friendly. This is well worth the money and a experience. I highly recommend! An amazing with a respectful who knows a lot about and loves them to bits. stories were told about the camels. The seem dull at first but once on top the scenery gets really picturesque. The guy that runs this was not particularly nice to my family and I this morning. On our way down from the creator, we were approaching a number of that had obviously dropped off their riders (half way up) and were awaiting their return. As we approached my girls noticed that those walking on the path before us were being allowed to pet the camels, I wasn’t keen on letting them but as others seemed to be doing so and the seemed to be liking it, I was thinking it might be okay to let them. Just at that moment the guy who ran the started shouting and balling, pointing out that those who were petting the were “his paying clients” singling out our family group and shouting at us “do you not think you should ask first” neither my wife or I, or any of our three young girls had touched a camel at this point, we weren’t even close to them. Distracted by his bellowing we stopped walking past, while one of our girls did continue towards the group of and so he started to shout at us about her, telling us to “get control of our daughter and that she needed to learn to respect the welfare of his animals” he then went on to (again at the top of his voice) suggest that one of the was a “danger to humans”. We just attempted to just give him and his a wide berth. Not a very pleasant experience. If you are reading this, perhaps you were having a particularly bad day today, but did you really need to be so rude? If you all the way up to the creator by yourself (without camel assistance) it is actually faster and as you take in the amazing from the creator’s rim you can feel rightly satisfied that you earned it. Very enjoyable (1.5 hour camel ride to and back) and was very knowledgeable, spoke English very well, answered many questions and you could tell the are very well looked after. He called us a taxi to get back to our hotel afterwards too. Please note that the do not take you right to the top of the ( would not be possible), but they take you as close as possible. It took us a very brisk 20 minute to the top of the and you only get about 45 minutes to get there and back! You can still enjoy the nice if you do not want to the walk. This is a which is the be all and end all of this. The Nicolas absolutely ruined it! He was not only rude and aggressive to us he said many swear words loudly in front of my two children. This is completely unacceptable behaviour.. He constantly spoke very loudly throughout the which took away from the surrounding and general experience.... the to the crater was incredible and peaceful as wasn't there. Not only this to our disgust looking at younger girls that walked by an looking back at them making rude remarks! I really hope the true owners see this and go back to authentic guides for the small island as Nicolas needs to get a lesson in matters. I had a fantastic and the was very knowledgeable, he spoke English very well, answered all our questions and was also very funny. The got us a taxi to get back to our hotel afterwards. It took us about 20 minutes to to the top of the but the were definitely worth it and it was lovely weather! (Quite breezy and not too hot). with a well informed and friendly who obviously has respect and care for his animals. With regards to an earlier review about the apparently being rude to a family not on his tour, my understanding is that he is just cautious about how people approach the as he has upmost respect for them and doesn't want people just running up to them and frightening them, which in my opinion shows care for their welfare. We had a fantastic time and found him extremely engaging and friendly and our kids had THE BEST time. Definitely recommend.
