Marco and Kristoff are definitely the top tier professionals in Scuba. I was very happy to switch to SSI. Easygoing attitude, extremely adventurous dives, but most importantly responsible and safe. Excellent center. Clean and tidy. Good service. Dives with lots of life. Punctual departures. Good equipment in good condition. In my case I brought my own but they have a free equipment cleaning service and you can leave it to dry. The only thing that is better than the facilities is the personal treatment, very friendly, nice and cheerful. I had the chance to train 3 days with Pedro in freediving and it was a very good experience! As I would like to pass my freediving levels, he gave me good advices to improve my technique and be able to in the best way possible. His explanation were clear and straightforward which helped me to quickly adjust in the water. Cherry on the cake, Pedro and the whole team are super friendly so I had a lovely time. Hope to see them soon, I can only recommend! I booked a last minute single for my partner and I as we were in the area, the guides were friendly and helpful, the equipment was all in very good condition, as was their boat, I can’t fault anything. The was okay, good visibility and some of your typical marine life (we did see a ray), we were only at 12 meters, you would probably see more on a deeper dive. I would with them again. I have just enjoyed a wonderful week with Punta Amanay. There were many firsts for me on this trip including with Nitrox; entering the ocean from a boat and a drift dive. All the I dived with were extremely knowledgeable and kind and I very supported. A great experience. Had a great time. Instructor was really cool. First doing this activity and safe. I can highly recommend this center. It was my second and first one for my son. Everything was nicely explained and practiced in the swimming pool, then after the break we were taken to the sea. The whole group was well looked after by 4 instructors. We safe all the time. The only bad side of the were big waves and strong currents. Not a pleasant for people with sea sickness (like me), but we can't blame the center for the weather on the day. 5/5 👌 Can’t rate this place high enough, everything is exceptional. The infrastructure and place is very clean and taken care of. The equipment is in top conditions and the education is top notch. I did Open and some additional dives, the were extremely helpful and you can tell that they what to share their passion with you. Having a indoor pool to train helps a lot. The team is simply great and very professional, we very well look after and safety was always a priority. We were four of us doing the course and each of us with different levels of but we all improved our skills and technique massively. I went with my autistic son Jesse, who is 26 years old and - in addition to his autism - has a developmental disorder. We did a trial with a center at home in The Netherlands, which wasn't very successful. Jesse did not feel comfortable under water: he kept breathing a little bit through his nose and therefore had in his mask, which made him extra uncomfortable. I nonetheless decided to give it another go in Corralejo. Punta Amanay's instructor - Marco - immediately put Jesse at ease and guided him in the very best way through a trial in Punta Amanay's perfect and private swimming pool. The very next day, we did an open - again with Marco as our instructor. Jesse was underwater for 36 minutes and loved every minute. Four days later, we did another open and this one was an even bigger success: we saw 5 manta's and we were underwater for 45 minutes. Without the people at Punta Amanay, this would not have been possible. They're the very best!! I definitely recommend this company! Very professional approach, everything was well-organized and without any rush. The boat trip itself was also very interesting, and the whole adventure was an amazing experience. It was my first from a boat, and I really safe and comfortable throughout the whole experience. The morning theory and pool teachings were clear concise and the instructor knew how to layer the information so it was easy to absorb and remember. When it came to the actual again both George and Marco were relaxed that made any nerves dissipate. Once in the I had trouble initially and that flash of panic was dealt with by Marco fantastically that I was able to resume with the and I am sooo thankful I did because the was one of the life memory moments you just never forget ! Despite the many information we had to learn she explained it with fun. During the whole day the Marie and Marco always had an open ear to us and were really caring, so that we in save hands the whole time. We could feel their passion of diving.
