I booked a class for a day through the hostel that I stayed at (Surfers Retreat). It was a experience. Our was Igor and he started to give us information about winds, weather and lots of things about while we were heading to the beach. (Piedra Playa) was also cool but also crazy 😃 So, I can everybody who wants to try or practice surfing, overall. We had a first lesson with Lorenzo. We had a time! He gave good instruction and personal advice. We are definitely going again! I highly this school in particular the Wojatek and Paul. Super experienced guys who introduce you to the world of kitesurfing safely, with a sense of humour and full of professionalism. The whole team is super helpful, you can count on them for any help with equipment selection. Prices are competitive with other schools, so I wholeheartedly. Had an epic couple of days kiteboarding at Flag Beach, thanks to Paul and his top-notch team! The rental process was seamless - no certification requirements, which was a bonus. What really impressed me was the flexibility to swap kites and boards throughout the day to optimize for changing conditions. Super convenient with their tent setup on the beach. Highly renting from Paul and the Flag crew. Their expertise, friendly service, and quality gear made for an unforgettable experience First contact by phone (I guess Ben) was perfect. Gave decent info about waves and conditions, said best to try 2 days later. Called in the morning 2 days later. Info was; there‘s everything at the beach. My son got a board and wetsuit. We learned (worldwide) to ask about the spot, currents, special conditions… became only very short answers. 30 min and several cuts later (one deep one in the heel that had to be treated surgically) we were offered shoes for the next day (!) There was no band aid or first aid kid, no help offered! So nerver were informed about the need of shoes and the possibility to get them. The guy at the had no possibility or motivation to help. Sorry, NO rerommendation First back in 4 years and decided to do a 6-day course with Flag to re-learn the basics and improve my technique and confidence. I had Lorenzo for 5/6 days and Igor for 1/6. Lorenzo was a fantastic and really encouraged me straight off the bat. Taught me how to get the pop up technique right and brought me out past the break to catch some green waves. He’s helped me tons and will be practicing pop ups back home in London 🤙 Igor was also really charismatic, friendly and extremely helpful. He gave us the low down on wind speeds, break points, all the technical surfer lingo and brought us to playa de las escaleras which was a real privilege as we were the only ones there. Also both had top notch playlists to really help you get into the groove. I 100% the course over hiring a board, you’ll go to locations known by those in the know and meet some amazing people along the way. We stayed in one of their villas which was beautiful, clean, peaceful and perfectly equipped. Full credit to Lorenzo our coach, he was fantastic. He dealt with the difference in ability between my girlfriend and I tremendously, with gems of information and encouragement at all the right times and at all the right levels. The team relayed messages to each other regarding the at various points on the island so we always ended up at the spot best suited to the days outcomes straight away. Angels, our Yoga instructor, was so lovely, finishing each day off with Yoga at the top of the botanical gardens in Corralejo as the sun set was idyllic. Took a 3 day course with Flag beach, amazing guys who create a fun experience while being strict on the basics to learn kiting in a safe way!! I was blessed with Jelle for all days who stood by my side patiently and always with a big warm smile. I trained at **Flag School in Fuerteventura** and had **Nick (from Greece)** as my instructor. He was an outstanding — highly knowledgeable, patient, and very professional. He explained everything clearly, always focused on safety, and shared a lot of valuable practical knowledge, not only about riding but also about *kite setup, tuning, and basic repairs*. Nick has a teaching style, is easy to communicate with, and genuinely cares about his students’ progress. Training with him was motivating, confidence-building, and memorable. I highly Flag School, and especially Nick, to anyone who wants to learn or improve their kitesurfing skills. I did a five day kitesurf course with Flag on Fuerteventura and had a time. Before this I had done two days in flat water in Germany and could ride a few meters. On the first day we refreshed some basics on the and after that we went out by boat to the open sea near Lobos every day. You jump in, have some on your own to try things out, and later the boat comes back to give you clear tips and feedback. Beginners always had an in the water with them. I started at VDWS level 3 and managed to reach level 5. The are windy and wavy and definitely tougher than flat water, but once you stand on the board it feels much easier than expected. If you learn it here you will feel confident at other spots as well. I especially want to highlight Nick, my and boat captain. He was very friendly, relaxed and gave advice that really helped me improve. Also thanks to Walthes who took care of all the equipment before and after each session. The whole team was easygoing and helpful and the daily hotel pickup worked perfectly. Overall a really good school where you can make fast progress. I just appeared at their spot on the and was able to immediately join a beginner's kitesurf lesson. We practiced in Cotillo on the sand for a really long and it was amazing! Tomas had a lot of patience and was a really good teacher!! Would definitely it :) I love trying new sports all over the world, but this school truly impressed me. I first booked a three-day course, which was extremely successful thanks to Simon and Jan. They always adapted the location and to my abilities, so I was able to learn something new every day and had a lot of fun. Afterwards, I took a five-day kitesurfing course and was once again absolutely thrilled. Thanks to Paul, Nick and Toni, I made huge progress in a very short and am now flying home happy and proud. The lessons took place on a beautiful and from a boat and included plenty of in the water. All the instructors were incredibly friendly, spoke good German or English and worked very professionally. Thank you all - I’ll be back next year. Really kiting school. They have teachers who are eager to explain every detail and emphasize safety over just sending you out on the water. Unfortunately I haven't had luck with the wind, but even then, the school has so many connection in Fuerteventura, that we were able to find spots to kite in. After a the 4 day kiting school, I was even able to edge in light wind (10-13knt). Great school, 10/10 would recommend. I did a 3 day Wingfield course with Flag and would highly recommend. Robin the was incredibly knowledgeable and so patient with a fiftysomething hapless beginner that i am. I learnt so much on the course that I was actually up and riding by the third day. I've still got a long way to go but this course was the perfect introduction. If you're thinking about beginning any waterspouts, don't hesitate. All the guys there were really friendly. Highly recommended! Just finished our first lesson with flag beach. We had a fabulous and would thoroughly recommend. Booking was easy, pick up from our hotel was on and all the staff were lovely and helpful. Wetsuits and shoes were included as well as the boards (obviously!). Our spoke multiple languages and was fun as well as being a teacher. We had 2 adults and 3 teenagers in our family and everyone managed to catch some waves, and even stand up on the board! I did my second session today with Igor, the fun started the moment he picked us up. Interesting conversations and it was easy to tell that he is a professional. We got there real quick and there was practically nobody at the beach. Started with a strategic breakdown of the current direction and where the peak of the waves are and then did some planking and how to standup training then streched and hit the waves. The tide was high and I was exhausted towards the end but I managed to do a proper ride and owe it all to Igor’s instructions. The drive back to corralejo was even more fun and he dropped us at our hostel in the end. Definitely this place especially Igor as an instructor.
