What a day out for a or picnic. Crazy golf was fun. adventure play area for children all for the reasonable price of £7 for parking. Beautifully setup and maintained with different features to and explore around the park, all whilst keeping in theme with the history and culture. £6 to with courteous staff. day out plenty to do and see the adventure play ground was for out daughter and nice around the lake. Nice cafes to grad a coffee. Beautiful place to for a or picnic. Nice garden centre and cafe. Spoiled only by the 7 pound fixed price parking fee . Used to be free when I was young!! Love coming here, beautiful walks, coffee, sausage rolls A brilliant place to visit! Good parking £7 for the day. Beautiful scenery and quite flat so easy to walk. Archery was a reasonable price. Had ice cream and pizza too! I visited the for the first time. It was a place for a walk. The looked lively, children were playing, and people were walking. I enjoyed my Sunday. Fabulous place for the day. Beautiful walks and they always make a fantastic effort for Halloween definitely recommend This is a very large and beautiful with a around a lake with lots to see. Popular with families and dog walkers. facilities and plenty of things to do. There's a huge safe playground for kids and a couple of cafes with very nice staff. Recommend for a day out and a picnic. Beautiful with well kept grounds. for a and perfect for families. There are plenty of picnic benches dotted around the lake and the rest of the park. The children's was busy, to see so many kids playing outside. Cafe up by the stables had gluten free sandwiches and snacks available as well as jacket potatoes. Nice atmosphere in the cafe too, friendly and helpful staff. facilities for baby changing and for people with disabilities as they have an adult changing bench and hoist in site. Shame that there's only one option for parking - £7 for all day. Would be good to have the option of paying for a couple of hours for a smaller price. But on the whole, a to explore with plenty to see. I love this country park. It has two cafes, massive lakes, lots of loos, benches, archery , crazy golf, a shop and a Abbey Tales inside. It has gardens with lots of sculptures to explore and a cracking adventure play ground. Lots of wildlife too. Love Rufford Park. parkland, gardens, lakeside and woodland walks. Also a big children’s play area, tea rooms. Snow drops, blue bells in season, a place in every season. Plenty of places to walk. Family friendly. Had nice lunch there. Will be going again Hadn’t been for around 8/9 years and it’s had a huge transformation. Lots of cafes dotted around, updated signage. There was a farmers market on which had vendors and nice food outlets. Rufford is a so beautiful and it’s been well enhanced Really good budget to see Santa. My eldest is severely adhd and both my children were happy and much more relaxed after this than the usual expensive events. Santa was wonderful, spent a amount of time talking to the girls about their lists and his reindeer. No upselling expensive photographs (the helpful elf was happy to take lots on our phone for us) Would definitely recommend We also had lunch in the cafe, food, big portions and attentive staff. Thank you ladies 🙂 February walk-around Rufford, the squirrels and birds were so friendly. It was so beautiful and quiet today. Finished off with bacon sandwiches and coffee in cafe. place to for a day out with kids, play area and plenty of space to burn off some energy!. Parking is a bit steep at £7 and all the kiosks etc are cashless ( until they go offline then only take cash so take both !) for a nice walk. Various routes can be taken depending how far you would like to walk. Toilets, cafe, playground, mini golf, ok for pushchairs on some routes.
