Good view of aircraft on the southern runway, but the trees need trimming; soon the runway will be obscured. Can be noisy when parties of young children are brought in by their teachers. There is also a play area for the children Good place but there is no clear view on the runway 😐 Beautiful and useful area for so many different activities. We came to watch the taking off. Very good for the kids but unfortunately placed right next to the take off runway of Orly so very very loudy... It is nice to see the taking off but not nice if you want to chill out. This is a like hidden secret of Paris. Come on a beautiful day (which can be rare in this city) and enjoy all of nature's beauty! It's located high above the road and goes through many old Parisian buildings. It's basically a giant garden.. Perfect date spot :) Perfect for children, beautiful view over the Orly airport runway. Is there a better time to visit a busy airport than during lockdown? Probably not as long as the weather is good. This is a bit of a puzzle. On the plus side it is well maintained, very well-equipped in the children's play area (Zip line, modern see-saw etc) It has a jet fighter, a nice pond, plenty of places to sit down, (avoid the geese!) a large picnic area, and a fairly big snack bar (closed at the moment). On the negative side, yes you have a viewing platform to see the but unless you are very tall you don't see very much and the razor wire fence discourages you from trying too hard. The car is parallel to the park's only entrance and not very big. There is another green space, dog & picnic area at the western end of the but NO way of getting to it without leaving the walking about 1km to get there. Perhaps the gate is open sometimes. I hope so. Without the it was a fairly quiet, very agreeable visit, with full serviced resumed it will be a different story ;-) Good place for spending time with family Very well!!!
