It's not guarded and many parts are pretty dark so I suggest bringing a strong flashlight to explore the whole thing better, phone flashlight will not be enough since this place has very dark and long tunnels. Seems like they tried to renovate it at one point but it only messed negatively with it's natural abandoned beauty, I hope they leave it as is or even take out those lights they installed for some reason. I also suggest reading the history of it before visiting to be able to experience the vibes fully. Also september is the best month to go visit all the forts. For this one, no tickets are necessary just be careful and watch your step. Interesting place full of historic events.
