Entrance tickets are overpriced (compared to similar science museums/centres in other EU countries) ! Don’t think twice if you want to your to be busy and happy. Highly recommend Pros -interesting exhibits -Super helpful and proactive staff. They speak English and always willing to explain and demonstrate experiments - toilets , cloak roam -lot of sitting and open area Cons - the restaurant could have more warm meals - entry is provided on ticket , not like regular ticket pay and enter Newly built. The place has a conference room, a planetarium, multiple experimenting spaces for and adolescents, a nice restaurant with good food, deserts and coffee. Situated on the Science Island in Kaunas this Tech Park is surrounded by rivers, playgrounds, sport fields and green spaces. Definit worth trying, family friendly. The big part of the exposition is not working, and another part is poorly maintained. There is no value for money. I wouldn't recommend visiting. Planetarium worth 4*, much better experience. And you can get separate tickets, skipping the "science" (not so much science there) museum... Visited with two children aged 3 and 9. They both were extremely happy! All info is duplicated in English and this is great. We were there on Thursday morning and it was good, no crowds, no queues. staff come up and help if something is unclear. A great with many interactive activities. Visited with an 8 year old who very much enjoyed it but it was just as entertaining for us adults. Spent 2 hours in the expeditions and then visited the planetarium afterwards, which was in Lithuanian (I’m not sure if there was an English option & we just missed it) Architecture pleasant to the eye. Exhibitions leave something to be desired for adults. The robot cleaner was found to be the most entertaining I visited the with my kid, we both were happy and liked it more, than the Vilnius energy museum. I agree, it might be more interesting for school age kids, but I also had a good there. I feel like it's the best of such type in Lithuania Interesting, attractive museum. - No support contact number, only email. No information about parking possibilities, no support on spot. No informative signs for entering the museum. No information at entrance about caffee bar in the end of exposition. Children were tired of too much reading instructions, maybe possible to make some instructions in video format Amazing architecture and design choices, the was interesting and exciting for my family, even tho we are all adults it was fun, I saw people saying its only good for but personally I prefer interactive museums over older generation of museums. I do agree that prices are too high and some exhibits were broken, which is unfortunate. Also, planetarium was nice but our seats weren't very comfortable. Overall, good one if you can afford the price. Worst place to make a visit. Parking is the main issue. No access without a stupid app that is impossible to download if you are from outside Lithuania. Need to think fast to park somewhere as you be denied access to the parking. And if you are late because of this, it is game over for your visit. Explore in the earlier morning times, the building is large, but the exhibition is really compartmentalized - got very packed by the we've finished exploring. Came at 11, left at 13:30~. The project definitely has plenty of room for growth, both literally and figuratively, and I'll take my chances and wait until more developments are presented, before even considering a visit for the 2nd time. The exterior design of this building is interesting. The itself was extremely disappointing. The exhibitions are lackluster and oriented toward children; some weren't even functioning. Tickets are overpriced for the small you get. During a multi-day-visit to Lithuania, this one proved to be a true highlight of our trip. Alone the structure itself is worth looking at: It's highly visible, but at the same perfectly blends in, and it is a masterpiece of modern architecture. The permanent exhibition offers a huge variety of artefacts that explain functions of chemistry, physics, biology, medicine and technology. They are easy to understand for kids, but also give parents an "Aha"-moment. For a break, you will find an excellent restaurant on-site, the quality of the food was a great surprise - I had rarely seen that in a Museum. Sadly, the Planetarium was sold out, but we will definitely come back for this one! Btw: If you pay attention, you will see the staff going round, permanently taking care of details that you wouldn't notice. They visibly give their best, the whole operation seems highly professionaly organized. To sum up: We'll be back. This one is great! There's absolutely no logic in the exposition. Very boring when visiting. After about ten minutes everything got really boring. It was a waste of money too, when you get onto the second floor where the binoculars are it's just showing you a picture and not actually letting you see the thing in reality. Beautiful building, there were a few interesting exhibits, however explanations for each experiment were very poor without clear explanations what the viewer is supposed to see or learn. Planetarium was also underwhelming, only showing what can be seen with a naked eye on a clear night. I missed more zoomed in experience, where we could see different planets from up close. Overall the was very expensive, not worth the price.
