Unfairly treated on Trip advisor. Staff were helpful and friendly despite my lack of German. Facilities were good, but... charging in advance for electricity by the kWh: don't, it's silly. No hoses for water, do come on. Stralsund is wonderful and worth a visit and the marina is well sited and well equipped, just needs to iron out a few wrinkles. A definite place to visit... For marina of this size and location I would expect higher level of services. The old town is easily reachable from here though. Fish directly from the sea. Kutter Nordsee! That is the worst marina that I had in the Atlantic, Caribbean, Australia, Med, North Sea and Baltic Sea. I am a captain of a 70ft and looks that Harbour master like stupid gossip, that is the worst of a respetable person. I being treated as defaulting and he did not even explain why. The Y-booms and the quays look like they remember the Weimar Republic. They definitely don’t look safe to moor on. Any help is non-existent, the port master (when he actually is here) just sits here and collects money - for what? The disgusting bathrooms and rotten mooring places? No thank you. The only incentive to stay here is the proximity to the old town. Besides that, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Very nice place!
