Easy to book, staff are nice and friendly. They accommodate us so well whether its rackets we need, or we went past our booking by a few minutes. Always feel welcomed here. One star lost because the car park is a seemingly unmonitored mess. Cars are parked in areas which are not designated spaces and quite a few low life's park in disabled or parent & child spaces when they have no blue badge or children with them. Shame it's not better controlled. Nice sports hall and pool, good gym, clean I asked the lady and showed my letteron reception . I asked if I have to tell anybody I was there for my appointment ! . She said no just take a seat . I was sitting there for nely 2 hours ! . I seen the nurse to who I have my appointment with and informed her iv been hear for nely 2 hours ! . She then called me in straight away and told me she was going to put me down as a no show ! . I think the lady should of took my name instead of playing with her phone and brushing me away ! . How wrong is that This is the first time I have signed up to a gym. The price is reasonable and you don’t have to sign up, you can pay as you use. The gym is clean and friendly. They get you to use an app that connects to their gym equipment so you can track your workouts and progress. You can also check your body stats there which was explained to me. The gym instructor was useful and knowledgeable, he put a plan together for me to do a 10k and explained why each workout was useful for my goal and his plan helped me achieve it. I also use the badminton court with my daughters, they enjoy it. I’m still to try out the other activities. Nice gym never overly busy, just get used to the peak times. Staff are nice and help you too. I suffer with anxiety and they were great when I first started going. Returned after 4 years to take family for a swim was chuffed to see such a clean centre and staff are welcoming great place 😀 If you want use the pool as part of your exercise regime, take my advice and avoid the afternoon sessions. That's the time of day when it becomes difficult to dedicate your session to just SWIMMING. Groups of larking children throwing balls and goggles at one another, make it a hazard for the swimmer, just as ignorant individuals, usually teenaged couples petting, who stand around chatting and occasionally making an effort to swim across the pool instead of down it make it almost impossible to swim a length uninterrupted. I’ve been working out at Bloxwich Active for a while, and overall, it’s a great gym. Despite being small, it’s well-maintained, and the equipment is in good condition. The staff are friendly and always ready to help, which makes the atmosphere welcoming. However, there’s one area where the gym falls short: many members don’t return their weights after use, even though it’s clearly stated throughout the facility. It’s disappointing to see this lack of basic gym etiquette, especially when some instructors also neglect to set an example by not re-racking weights while training clients. I hope the management can address this issue to improve the experience for everyone. Great place . I enjoyed my time there before I moved out . I haven't yet got another gym as cool as this one .
