Vakantiepark "Zevenbergen"

's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands Holiday park

Very well maintained, clean and beautiful birds park , also Walibi and a huge pont with koi fish. The House are a bit outdated, but comfortable, and extremely clean, really top!!! Great towel service, and they are of high quality. a cute bar and seats near to the fish pont. The most Play area for kids need to be updated. A big Chess play ground. Good parking area, and car recharge parking lots. A very serene, quiet and kind atmosphere. And a very warm welcoming owner... A really quirky place with unexpected animals. Please keep in mind that I am basing my review on several visits to the park from a couple of years back (last one in 2017), so maybe they fixed a few things in the meantime (I certainly hope they did). I also have to mention that the company I worked for had some kind of partnership with them - needless to say I would not have returned after my first visit otherwise. The number one issue I had was especially annoying during the winter: almost all of the houses I've stayed in over the time (at least 5 or 6) either had problems with the heating system (a certain radiator would simply not work for example) or they were equipped with an "intelligent" thermostat that limited the amount of heat to maximum 17 degrees using a motion sensor in the living room. Usually, in the day before arriving, the host would "prepare" the room to around 15-16 degrees at best (I once checked-in at around 7 o'clock in the evening during winter and there were 12 degrees inside). I understand waste prevention, but this is truly ridiculous. I think a way better idea would be to insulate the guesthouses thermally instead of playing these cheap tricks on customers. Most of the rooms had modest furniture, uncomfortable beds and old, beat-up electronics. Wind noise was pretty loud as well and the window "flaps" were often not working properly. Internet connection offered was a joke and you were only allowed to register one device per person (MAC address filtering). If you don't really care about accommodation that much (if you like to sleep in a tent or a caravan perhaps and you don't mind the occasional spider) you might find the conditions bearable. If you must stay in the area I would highly recommend booking a hotel and avoiding this place. As for the location itself, I would visit a zoo if I was that much into seeing encaged animals. Nice green place whit good quality and zoo around park. Quiet and beautiful location in the middle of the forest and really wonderful animals. Very nice While visiting Heesch for 7 days, my wife and I stayed at Vakantiepark Zevenbergen for our entire trip. It was a relaxed, quiet place to be. Much more room than a hotel, with a home like feel. The park was interesting and Twan was very helpful and inviting. Access to bicycle trails right from the park made exploring, dining and shopping easy. We had several days that we did not use our rental car. I would definitely choose to stay here again instead of a hotel.
