After a long day`s driving, across all of Romania ( with its few motor-ways ), what can one wish for ? A nice motel, by the side of the road, a hot shower, a soft bed, a good night`s sleep and a generous breakfast ! My wife and I found all these, plus a charming motel owner-manager, at the Ioanis Motel, just outside Arad, close to the border crossing to Hungary. How could we forget the delicious -typically Romanian -, welcome drink and the pleasant and informative conversation ??? No wonder, we look forward to coming back, next summer and, why not, spend a couple of days in this beautiful area, in so many ways !
