Very beautiful experience with the audio guide in English. Very peaceful place with beautiful garden. There is parking space and the drive was really beautiful. Do the place if you are interested in historical knowledge and significance. It’s free of charge. But just book the online. Very inspiring of the of one of the founding fathers of the EU, located in very calm and relaxing region. Very interesting explanations of our tour guide about Jean Monnet's life. Very glad I made this visit. I had the enormous chance to spend a few days at the Jean Monnet house. A fantastic team and an outstanding and unstoppable guide 🤣, passionate and exciting. Thank you for your welcome and your professionalism to the whole team including katering team. Très intéressant; I thought I knew about Europe. But here I got really 'connected' to the beginning of the EU history. A humble where big dreams started getting real. Very kind people with very rich knowledge and very interesting place. Must visit! While the itself is nice but pretty random, the tour was absolutely amazing thanks to the amazing guide. We spent a solid 2 h on site and loved it. This is not just the of one of the fathers of the EU. The life of Jean Monnet covers some of the most interesting moments of the European History during the XXth century including the first and 2nd WWs and the stunning negotiations to join France and England as one whole country during the Nazis invasion. He was a visionary with direct access to the most important leaders of Europe since the WWI till his death and he modelled the Europe that we have now... Even his personal life is stunning. The museum is beautiful and the surroundings are poetic. You can reserve a guided visit. As an extra, you can reserve also a guided for the Louis Carré just in front of it. This was designed by the Finnish architect Arval Aalto, and you will have the sensation of having passed the day in the first part of the XXth century. Wirklich interessant, das Haus dieses berühmten Mannes zu sehen. Cute historical place Too crowed Need book before but is possible to take directly ticket after 30 min waitting Amazing place and very knowledgeable people working there! Wonderful place that any Europhile should visit. Guided tours are done in a very lively and vivid way, taking one back in time, with an insight into the long-term foresight that Jean Monnet had as well as the beautiful love story between him and his wife Silvia, whose advice he always sought. Nice and calm place where you can learn about how the European Union was born. Very inspiring experience. Excellent presentation of Jean Monnet's vision on Europe. Amazing place to remind us about our European values and where we are coming from. Congratulations. I want to ho back there The home of an unsung hero, full of recent history already overlooked. A dining table laid out for the likes of Ike, Churchill, de Gaulle, Heath, Eden... The proponent of a unified Europe. Located in lovely French countryside, next door to the only remaining Alvar Aalto in France (sadly only open Saturday's and not entry free, as is Monnet's house).
