Natural park, huge one, you can walk/hike/cycle/Run/play/Picnic. Free parking, best place for walking your dog. Can get crowded on weekends especially for parking, but itself is huge so dont worry that there will be too many people around, as it can accommodate much higher crowd. The Newbold country park,is a wonderful place for walking your dogs, family strolling,or wat i do is jogging there plenty of joggers and ramblers around ,I'm manly there for my jogging, you have fast about of country parts to do all this.also ways to guide you through country and keep you in a safe path. If you enjoy bird watching or photography or art, this is a beautiful colourful place that just sends your creativity stimulating. If you love watercolour like me or acrylics, or oil ,that's the place to come ,this the gem of a place for all this. First time in years. Its changed firbthe better. Great walk. Views across countryside is fab. My dog enjoyed it too. Plenty of bins. Hard surfaced paths so good for wheelchairs and buggies. Calm and enjoyable place. Perfect place for family time Also for cycling 🚲 Nice views 👌 relax time Good Went to the recently refurbished leisure centre to use pool jacuzzi and sauna which was enjoyable although I thought it could do with a deep clean. Shower by sauna not working so most people were coming out of sweaty sauna and straight into jacuzzi as they couldn't be bothered to 50 ft to showers and then come back..yuk! Big park, great for a walk, jogging or cycling. The hills gives a nice view over the city and the itself. For the mountain biking enthusiasts there is also a nice track (muddy when it's raining) and the parking is free. This is my local escape, I love it here, Great view and paths, quiet and lots of trees. It has got lots of different sections which I like, if you like your wild and free green, views, playground for the kids, or cycling - it's got a range. The introduction of cycle track paths curved into one main green had some local backlash, but it is fine and not too disruptive, although I cycle, I have never used these - great for teens and all ages really. It is well used, so I would say it was a good investment by the council and pleased for the users. There's plenty of space for us to share. This is such a delight! Great for families to enjoy. It was very peaceful and clean. Yesterday, July 31st, was the summer festival which we didn’t even know about until we arrived there, that afternoon. A band was singing live… those guys were super talented. Came here for Parkrun and a very nice course it was. The had some lovely views and it was well kept. Lovely peaceful alongside the river. Beautiful meadow land full of wildlife, fauna and flora. Great place for nature lovers and families. Take your dog, take a picnic, it’s all there. Good enterainment area for all age categories. Huge open areas, cycle trails, picnic area and kids playground. Free parking! We are lucky to have a lovely green space like this. However the newly built cycle track has scared the nicest part of the comyn and probably end up an expensive white elephant. Secondly let's hope we never have another no mo may. Great bike trails . Jump and really nice atmosphere. Great place for all. Dog walkers, families, cyclists of all abilities. There's something here for everyone.
