My recent visit to Briedžių Medžioklė restaurant left me quite satisfied. The food offered was of commendable quality, and I particularly appreciated the value offered by their menu of the day. Wanted traditional Lithuanian food before I flew back to Ireland 🇮🇪 decided to walk from the hotel airport (12 mins) to here. VERY NICE. I seen online very big portions but I could never have finished a Cepelinai so I chose the kids menu, that was even a good portion. Two Cepelinai with all the trimmings. The restaurant itself it’s spotless clean. Really nice, cosy you can see a lot of love and thought went into this restaurant. The decor is incredible with all the fancy little touches all around, from the lights, curtains, family sitting booths, salt and pepper I found it really cute 🥰 the two waitresses working seemed very busy and despite not having incredible English they helped and tried their best. They told me before I ordered that the wait will be 10/15 minutes but I didn’t mind. It took close to 20/25 - again I never mind waiting for good food because it was worth the wait. Once food is good I’ll wait ☺️ Also girls were welcoming not rude or anything. Left me to my own device. Recommend 💯 First time visiting before getting flight from Kaunas Airport. Can't believe I didn't come before as its amazing place! Asked for quickest food options as was running late for airport, staff helpful with choice. Used lunch deal and got soup, drink and main course for 9,50 euros! Good quality food and big potion. The best part for me was decor - about 4 different zones with different style, loads of seating options, loved strawberry plants on terrace tables and the chair swing. Been using kaunas airport for over 10 years and just now found this gem. Sadly I have to express my not-so-very-impressed opinion about this place. I, personally, don't think this place deserves the hype or your time unless you are a child (or wish to have a children's party here). Apart from mesmerising interior design, food was very disappointing and.. definitely did not have homemade vibes or tastes. Beetroot soup lacked actual mushrooms (as listed in the menu), and the amount of fat was fascinating! Veggie dumplings not home made either, as I eat the same dumplings from Itsu. Quite sad. However if you are travelling with children this place is quite a place to be! Huge kids play area and loads of safe space for them to run around. Make your own mind, but, as I said, I, personally, don't know think it's worth the hype. Very nice Lithuanian food. They also sell home made bread to take away. Airport is near, so if have time, perfect place to have meal with leaving party before your flight! Prices Very reasonable, definitely recommend 👌 Great atmosphere with very unique decor and very friendly staff. Food is in great portions and tastes great. Delicious food, enormous portions, parking by the entrance. Paid around 45 euros for a generous meal. Definitely stop by on your way. The waters have two balloons for our kids and a lollipop, what a nice gesture. Nice Sunday lunch. Had cold beet soup, and Lithuanian meat schnitzel kinda like "Lietuviškas Karbonadas" with mushroom sauce, grilled potatoes and fresh cabbage salad. Quite a nice visit, would recommend. Amazing place with a fantastic atmosphere, fast service and delicious food! Had the best juicy duck breast ever! 😀 Very beautiful place to eat, staff is amazing and very friendly. Offered balloons and lollies for kids and also they got play area for little ones! Food was delicious 😋 definitely recommend! Local restaurant 8 min walk from the Kaunas airport with authentic Lithuanian dishes. Love it.. massive portions, exellent service and yummy meal.
