I loved all the attention to detail in the rooms, as well as the friendly family who owns it. We stayed here in the “Eddie” apartment for three nights. It is really lovely and “olde world”. It was comfortable and warm and in a great location. The host was helpful and there was a very cute dog around too! We would return and would highly recommend. My partner and I have eaten in the restaurant on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is of a high quality and the service is quick and efficient. The staff have always been polite and pleasant and some of them show great maturity for their young years. I get the impression that business is going well and this is really good to see but the one and only, for the want of a better word, complaint, I have is that you can feel quite cramped depending on what part of the restaurant and building you are seated, it certainly can be cosy to say the least. I would certainly recommend this restaurant. Hidden treasure 🌈 beautiful surroundings with eating tables in the garden and quirky little nooks in eating area. Staff very efficient and friendly. We had a 2yr old with us and they were very attentive and accommodating. Given this I was surprised that there was no child friendly changing facilities, but there again it is essential a bar restaurant and the outdoor area was good for wee legs to run around. Food was very good at lunch time essentially burgers 2 fish dishes,a chicken dish and steak. Served local craft beers exclusively- I think??Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and a lovely place to have lunch on a summer day. Will definitely be back. We recently occupied 2 double rooms for 4 days in this wonderfully atmospheric cottage complex in Moira. There is great access from Clenaghans to the nearby motorway system that can connect you to every part of Northern Ireland. The onsite team of Ivan, Angela, and Noel went above and beyond to ensure our family group had a magnificent experience and they were an absolute pleasure to interact with in each and every way. We would strongly recommend this accommodation to others. A little Irish gem. Quiant, quirky apartments, with a lot of thought and effort gone into each apartment. Very special little touches. It was superb. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. We will definitely be back Hidden gem! We were blown away with the service, attentiveness, food and drink. Opted for vegetarian option, was over whelmed with my meal and have never had a meal like it, my omnivore partner was lost for words as he went the veggie option also.
