We went to the driving range (which was unexpected expense after driving 15 miles to get there) and used the practice putting green. A decent course for learning and the staff tried their best help. Leisure center with golf course attached and driving range. I dont golf so no help there. Small gym upstairs, has everything you could want from free weights to static machines to aerobic machines. Do come classes. Generally I just do a spin class there I remember going here when I was small for a school trip to the pantomime. Younger me strangely didn't like the pantomime and was frightened whenever the villains came on-stage, likely due to the crowd booing but all I remember apart from that is big hairy brain turkey. (I was about 8 or 9 when I last went to one of those blasted things, but I went here when I was about 5 or 6.). It did seem like a very comfy place outside the rowdy theatre where said pantomimes took place. Therefore, from what I can recollect from my memory, this housed a cozy area for all sorts of stuff. However, I sincerely stray away from the pantomime as an almost soon-to-be adult. We got recommendation to go to Ballyearl because it is open till 9pm on Saturdays, nice place, especially with the golf course and Squash court! Liked it and the lady at the reception was warm and very welcoming! Lovely theatre space and friendly staff. When we tried to buy more, we were told we couldn’t because the place “closes at 10.” Then why on earth are you allowing bookings up to that time? If you're not going to let people play for the full hour, then the driving range should close before the rest of the leisure centre — not at the exact same time. Total waste of money and time.
