Great food for their Christmas parties. Service was excellent and we didn’t want for anything. Having to pay cash for drinks downstairs and bets is a pain though. Needs lights to show you where to drive to as we were all over the place trying to find the entrance. A different out for sure Went to a football game and not having been for over 20years needs some new seating in the stand etc. Otherwise a pleasant stadium but like many other venues needs serious investment and upgrading. We go here a few times a year to have a meal and spend an evening placing little tote bets on the races. The food is OK, it won't win any awards but I still enjoy it for what it is. The evening itself is great fun, especially with a good group of people. The staff are amazing, table service for drinks is fast and the staff are always on hand to quickly pay out winnings and to take totes for the next race. You don't have to be a seasoned gambler willing to drop mega money on the races. Bringing just £40 gets you an each way a tote bet on every race. I didn't think I'd like it when I first went, because I don't gamble. But now I jump at every invitation to attend. I think you should too. Had a fantastic time. We were hosted by two women, Leonie and Josie who made the experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a fun out. Excellent booking communication. From the start we couldn't fault the hospitality we received including our server leonnie, the food was first class and not to mention the 2 guys who took our bets! Tables 25/28 would certainly recommend this to anyone! Had a fantastic celebrating my sons birthday, the food was good and the atmosphere was brilliant.
