Staff are lovely. Toilets could be fresher. Drinks are expensive. Food is not only expensive but also poor quality and small portions. If you visit the See for recreation I would recommend taking a picnic but maybe stop at the bar for one drink to relax and observe. Bit hopeless on the service. Forgot the beer twice. Burger pretty ‘late night at McDonalds’ level . Location makes up for it though a tad loud on the music for a Sunday afternoon. THE BEST pizzas ever! They are better then the pizzas we have had in New York, London and South Africa. We brought our own food for camping but we let it go bad, so that we could eat at Freilinger See Bar everyday! Great location, but the vibe was completely ruined by the DJ playing loud techno music. We left immediately. We wanted to eat a Pizza Pane. That's Pizza with just oil, garlic and Oregano. This was to much trouble, although pizzas are on the menu. As a result we ordered nothing! We would have stayed much longer and eaten variety of dishes and cocktails. Disappointed in the inflexibility. The location is nevertheless fantastic! Obnoxious music. Too loud. Is this a nightclub or is it mid-day at a family swimming platz?
