One of the Best Places To Visits in Saint-Ambreuil Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. This place used to be a 12th century first spin-off from the famous Abbey at Citeaux. In the 18th century, the former sober home of the abt was transformed into a real palace and later into the castle that it's today. The castle is owned for generations by a family who arranges tours of the complex and runs a b&b. However, I believe that is only in July and August. We visited the gardens in season, they are a nice weekend walk and a little fun activity Very nice castle, I am glad to visit the rare exhibition once a year! Tickets are 5€ per adult, and many interesting handmade products will continue to visit next year! It was a delight to discover this venue as a photographer! The abbey’s façade, with its classic style, is gorgeous, and the beautiful gardens with a river flowing through the property are stunning. The place is absolutely perfect to host a wedding! A literal fairytale stay! Thank you so much to Virginie and Jacques for making our time at their STUNNING property so magical. I can't believe the room we stayed in. I truly felt like a princess in a chateau, and getting to stay in a place of such history was truly incredible. Thank you so much to Virginie for going out of her way to make sure I had a gluten-free option for breakfast. That was so kind. And thank you to Jacques for showing us your family home and telling us the incredible history of your family. We felt very lucky to hear your stories and to be amongst history. My only wish is that I could have stayed longer to not only enjoy walking around the grounds but taking some more photos. It was truly a fairytale. Thank you thank you thank you. I would be honored to return one day. Room Portier consists of 3 floors. In one are 2 sofas table and armchairs. On next floor are big bed with closet,Television,la grande cheminee avec les bougies, teapot with teabags. Two big windows face a face.Next floor is with bathroom, consist of une baignoire, toilet and lavabo.Charm style.Big territory.Parc.Near castle are a lot of places to visit and to look at.We will come back.Merci pour sejour.
