Great Clubhouse, friendly and visitor welcoming staff, beautifully manicured greens and a mixture of nicely rolling and challenging fairways and absolutely stunning par 3s. I will be visiting again! The next review is for somewhere else!🫣 We have a few garden centres around us near Heathrow and Uxbridge, but mum saw the advert for *Half Price Sale* for this Centre....hmmm....that wasn't entirely the case, yes there were half price items, but not proper garden items, silly things made in China!!!! 👺💩👹 The plants were quite expensive & then put down half price 😞.. lots of Christmas ideas for jams & biscuits etc...whuch we get used to these days, but This is exactly why the small shops are having it tough, because so called garden centres sell everything else these days... There needs to be a limit on what garden centres are allowed to sell, not everyday stuff which takes people away from the normal high street! We did spend £££ quite a bit between the three of us, but were not given a bag unless asked for it, & some prices were wrong on the till...(Not a human issue, but a computer issue) We also wanted to visit the cafe, but the cafe wasn't operational!🤨 Needless to say we went back to Ansells for a great brew & wonderful cake! Sorry about the 3/5 vote 🧐 Very nice breakfast sandwich and coffee to start our day. Course in good condition generally but the greens were lightening quick. Scoring low but a nice day out. Simply the best golf course in the area. The greens are akin to Augusta, the fairways beautifully manicured. The clubhouse is like a scene from a National Trust postcard. Yes it's not the cheapest, but you know the old add age, you get what you pay for - and this is definitely true in this case. Parkland golf at it's finest. Friendly atmosphere and the most stunning grounds of ever seen best gold club ever Only visited clubhouse. Very pleasant and hospitable. Although I am a member there and probably of course a little biased, I know a lot of members at other courses around the UK and more locally too who have not been able to play golf using full and proper greens rather than temporary ones in the recent weather we have experienced. In the next few weeks the course is going to be even more stunning and I fully encourage anyone who is a keen golfer to come and have a "knock" as you will absolutely love it. We have a young Head Green Keeper who although young (compared to me) is one of the best around with some awesome experience from previous clubs and a young Golf Pro who has a shop most people could easily spend at least £500 in if they wanted to. The bar always has on 3 or 4 guest ales along with our very own Shifnal Lager, Estrella, Guinness and also a fantastic range of 0% drinks. I hear 0% Guinness sells very well and looks and tastes as good as the alcohol version. Hope you like what you read and it helps you make the decision to come and play our course.
