Lovely bit of country side in the edge of a large town , Retaining much of it's past in both relics of mining era with some preserved parts of buildings and a canal wharf. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Some good signage telling you the stories of the past , all for free with a good car park. I have to say well done to the volunteers. Only down side, as in so many places I found all the bins overflowing onto the ground. Granville country park is a walk through the old coal mining area of east shropshire, follow one of the earliest canals in England, the Donnington wood tub boat canal, find industrial buildings left from the industrial revolution, the canal basin is still next to the old furnaces, download walking maps online. Pleasant paths and great view from the colliery top over the West of the county on a clear day. Lovely walk with three dogs. Very quiet but lots of birds and squirrels. Super lindo, com alamedas de árvores frondosas, cuidado ao extremo, aonde passeiam cães e separadamente amazonas e cavaleiros do haras próximo. Lovely walk this morning, very quiet, I noticed it was very clean, no litter or dog mess, so I was very happy just walking with my camera Great outside space lovely walks can get muddy in places Nice place to walk, with it without a dog. Nice trails through the woods and old mining buildings to see. Beware in the road coming off the island though, do not go 40-50mph as there are invisible speed bumps with no markings!! I could barely see them in broad daylight and my eyesight is perfect! Great place for walking dogs and trekking on the bikes with respect to the walkers and dog walkers. Can be quite muddy in places but my son loved that. We didn't get to see all as we ran out of time. So will probably re visit at some point. I used to like this place a lot, there is a lot to explore and some nice historical structures and information. The new estate that has been build adjacent to the park is such an eyesore, it's far too close and it has sullied a lot of the park. Still plenty of mud for my dog to play in! Fantastic place for dog walks very peacefull Nice area. Good for horse riding around. Downside being the illegal off road bikes and quads gaining access often breaking gates and fences to get in. Loud noise ruins the experience a fair bit. Police need to do more to prevent the misuse of the area Really nice walk, very dog friendly. Amazing to have this on our doorstep, no litter, beautiful trails, lovely and peaceful. Very quiet Dog crap everywhere - how selfish can you get! Feel sorry for local children - stinking place!
