Staff were pleasant but they'd run out of nearly everything on the menu This must be one of the worst experiences I have had at McDonalds ever. The fries were half only just about cooked, half under cooked. Certainly not the fries I used to feel are unbeatable. The spicy veggie wrap was not even half filled!! And most of the filling was raw onions. They were out of all chicken selects so had to get my partner nuggets, which weren't fresh. Food wasn't hot and definitely lacking taste. It was very busy and one of the machines you can use to order your food, needed to be rebooted. They're was plenty of staff around but nobody seemed to care about getting the machine back in actin to reduce the cues and take the pressure off eating congestion on the roads and in the building. The only credit I have to give this place is that it didn't take long for food to be ready once we managed to order. The staff are really friendly and clearly wants the place to look it's best at all times. Visited during a storm, and they were all ensuring that the wet floors were being cleaned and not slippy. They engage with children, ensuring that they have colouring pencils, things to draw on, etc. service was really quick, even though it was packed Saturday lunchtime. Worst McDonald’s and the most unhygienic too. This place need to be shut down and reported to EHO and taken their 5* hygiene rating. Update: reported to EHO. Arrived on the 12/08, immediately hit by an unbearable smell like urine around the restaurant. While waiting for our food, I noticed an infestation of flies around the counter screens/lamp shade. (See the attached photos) I notified the staff and they replied we have Ecolab for pest control and they aren’t doing anything, and I asked for a refund for my food. I’ve reported to McDonald’s Head officer too. Generally don't go near the place, processed garbage, but it was the only place left open after a breakdown. Friendly staff, good service. Just the usual honking food. Not the best. Queue out the door, no sauces available except curry, app wasn't working, tables all filthy and toilets were the same. I understand it's busy but they had enough staff to surely wipe the tables. After placing order and waiting an age for two sausage sandwiches and a coffee we noticed flies absolutely everywhere. Staff were slow and disinterested and when several people mentioned the flies they just said they had two zappers. Food was lukewarm as was the coffee, definitely wouldn’t recommend and would go as far as to say avoid it like the plague cause the plague of flies is already there! There were lots of people in the restaurant smiling an enjoying food, however I was standing waiting for my breakfast food for 15 minutes which I understand it was busy but the workers were shouting out orders that were after me, I was 74 and they were shouting out order 86 and all the numbers before then like they completely skipped me out. When I finally got my order and began to carry on my road trip I realised they had given me the completely wrong thing, I looked at my receipt and it was what I ordered so the mistake was on their end.
