Fantastic little place, whole little town of Bergen made from gingerbread. Magnificent. Would love to bring my daughter in the future. A rather nice detour from the Julmarkd. The smell of was devine!! Some clever creative work. Norwegian entry prices: high. From 15 years on they are already considered adults. It's a fun exhibition, smells delicious, some works are really original and elaborated whilst others are just ok. A pitty, they do not place the impressive ones in a visible front place. A lost opportunity, to explain how and why this exhibition is put together and who contributes. It's very cool and well worth the trip. Tickets are probably a little overpriced, but all up, it was a good way to spend half an hour. Love the idea, love the smell of gingerbreads! However price of 199nok is just not justifing it in regards to size of exhibition and time spend around there. Very nice houses look a like of Bergen city of its nabouring Isles. Take your kids and enjoy 🤘🫶 I love gingerbread! The smell was amazing, of course. They are made by locals/members of the community. Alot of detail in a lot of them. The staff set the up (make the displays) in a large room. Some of the pieces were broken unfortunately. I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest, however, I was expecting a LARGE display, like large houses and men etc. But it is still pretty cool and peoples ability to create something artistic always amazes me. Definitely great for kids. Tour takes 30 mins (if you dawdle) Vastly overpriced, BUT it's very nice to see... and the smell is divine Loved this beautiful town built by local kids. The dim lighting, fake snowy landscape and little touches like a model train travelling through the town made this experience feel so magical! There were some other quirky details like the Bergen Pokemon Arena and the Grinch house that made us chuckle. Note: This exhibit is not life-size, so do not expect to Hansel and Gretel through it. It's a miniature replica of the city. A cute little replica of the city of Bergen in winters. The place is an exhibition of houses and other natural elements by school children. The place will make you feel like the Giant in Lilliput. You would wonder if there are little elves hiding behind houses and may peak out at any moment. The entry price was a little high though unfortunately. Very pretty village. Not cheap though, but i enjoyed it. The price is crazy insane overprice. 199 kr for adult and 149 for student. So we paid 2 adults and 1 student. 547kr in total. But for what you paid, it's totally not worth it. Less than 15 minutes to experience everything (tried made it super slow inside). Too pack, some of the pepperkake house is not in the good shape. I saw the reviews from a long time ago, it's big twice as now, has pepper kake smell,etc. And in reality.....
