Haras National de Lamballe

Lamballe, France Historical landmark

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Helpful, friendly staff. Always interesting events. Remarkable collection of Breton and Postier stallions. Really great Christmas market....the staff was really welcoming Really interesting horse show. It was pouring with rain when we attended, so we couldn’t really enjoy looking around the stables afterwards. However, a really good wherever you sit in the arena. Recommended. Visited the Spectacle Equestre Gospel on the first day of the show. Really worth the admission with a fantastic show. Great experience! We bought tickets in advance to Maxi Mini show. No wait, great organization of the event, and the itself was amazing. There is a recommendation not to take pictures, so the only pictures are from outside. Recommend for anyone interested to go and enjoy it live. Large stable blocks, ideal venue for artisan exhibitions, stable floors are cobbles and could be difficult for those unsteady on their feet. We thoroughly enjoyed the Marche De Noel. We live close to Lamballe and went to the Marche de Noel at the Haras National. We go to Lamballe frequently, it is the closest larger town to our home. Will have to go back to the Haras again to check out the museum. The marché is one of the largest in Cotes d'Armor but want to see the place non-holiday. Did notice an ancient tree on the property that must be 600 years old. An Lamballe has an equestrian history that dates back centuries Great place. Very interesting history. Guide was very knowledgeable but sadly most of the tour was in French. The guide did answer any questions in english though. She was very friendly and helpful. The horses were amazing, as was Olaf the Donkey (my favourite). The tour was fantastic with some demonstrations of the horses. A little longer with the horses would have been nicer. Overall, well worth a visit.
